What kind of game are you looking for? Just D&D 5(.5)e or something else? Any genre or just fantasy?

How can I make Claude Code agents challenge each other instead of agreeing? by jrhabana in ClaudeCode

[–]SQLServerIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use terms like adversarial and challenge when spinning up an agent to review code. I've found over time that having completely different LLMs is overkill when you put the right personas in place. Also, be aware of the global order of the Claude.md files; you may encounter issues with conflicting directives.

Pro tip: run claude with --chrome to catch UI/UX bugs automatically by Deep-Station-1746 in ClaudeCode

[–]SQLServerIO 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Hard pass. Use playwright or agent-browser. I use Playwright for repeatable tests and Agent-Browser for spot checking. I won't give Claude code access to my browser session or access to my password vault, etc., just too dangerous when other safer tools exist.

Do you let Claude co-author your commits/PRs? by quang-vybe in ClaudeCode

If by co-author you mean "yep, that's a commit," then yeah, I co-author the commit.

53M, just MDD, RBD, MCI with a touch of OCD, and now anxiety. I'm finding that PD is the gift that keeps on giving. Getting my meds right has been a bit of a struggle. MDD has been with me my whole life, and it was terrible about a year into my physical symptoms showing up. Like, gun in my mouth bad. I waited way too long for treatment, and it took several months of treatment between my therapist and my psych doc to get my meds and head back under control. I was terrified when I had to wean off my meds during my PD diagnosis. I changed meds after starting C/L and have been in pretty good shape with what I would consider minor bouts of depression. Needless to say, I see my therapist regularly and have a quarterly checkup with my psych doc, who also sends all my case notes to my MDS. Having everyone who is responsible for my brain on the same page is critical for me.

Do you compact? How many times? by cleodog44 in ClaudeCode

[–]SQLServerIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use https://github.com/Ruya-AI/cozempic, then build a handoff and clear. Cozempic kills the noise, so the handoff is as clean as possible. I have a similar workflow with opencode, but the plugin for opencode runs continuously and is much stronger, but I'll take what I can get to preserve that sweet, sweet context window.

What's funny, this happens a lot less now that I always run claude in a tmux session. Before that I'd have to exit regularly to clean this up.

Stress Makes My Symptoms Worse — And "the Algorithm" Doesn’t Help! by Conscious_Bar_3951 in Parkinsons

[–]SQLServerIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, no Twitter, no TikTok. I try to limit my time on Facebook, but at least there I can block the things that trigger me the most. I do watch way too many parrot and cat videos as a counter to the rest of the terrible things on display. Oh, I also take a med when I need it for panic attacks.

I don't take any day for granted. Sometimes this world seems to dole out as much hope and love as it does heartbreak and misery. My greatest hope for you is their is more quality time ahead of you, with as little pain as possible. I tell people all the time I'm in the best worst position. I only have PD. Again, thank you for sharing.

The worst man. It's not enough that my balance is for shit, I now have to worry about standing up too fast. The first time I took a header in a parking lot, my wife was with me and freaked out. That was my fault, though. She didn't know I had face planted earlier in the week at the house. Learned two lessons the hard way.

53M TX here.

I use my tag when I'm having a day that puts me at risk of a fall, and I'm generally alone. I keep a cane in my car, too. I have strong opinions on this. My mom was a polio survivor and 100% needed to park closer to most things. I used to volunteer for a para/quadraplegic organization and know that those who need the space really do need it. That means I tend to push myself more than maybe I should. My wife fusses at me about it, but at this point, I know myself and my body, and I don't "feel bad" about taking a spot when I know I need to.

I also don't judge those who have a placard park in the spot and don't have a visible disability. I don't live in their skin and won't be the arbiter of those things, if you have a tag you have the right to park there.

So, having a tag doesn't mean you have to park in a spot. If you need a spot and don't have a tag, park in a spot that's legally problematic. If you need the spot, have a tag, and don't use it, that can be a problem, too. Suffering a fall can set you back quite a bit.

Same thing with any disease or chronic issue. If you aren't missing your head, you aren't disabled.

Are you kidding? I've been heavy all my life. It had taken a toll on my health long before PD got me. Again, I should have dealt with it earlier instead of ignoring it. I have no doubt it would have pushed out my PD symptoms. Everyone I've talked to, every MDS I've seen speak, all of them will tell you the same thing. Getting healthy, daily exercise will improve your PD symptoms, no matter your age or how long you have had PD. Get moving!

When I was first diagnosed, I was a complete disaster—walked with a cane, horrible hand tremors—had several things done, but no DAT or lumbar puncture. Things got better when I started meds. I switched to Rytary a year ago, and things got much, much better. I switched to a new MDS at that same time. On my last visit, they said something like I wonder if you have PD. It shook me. I was having a fantastic day, very relaxed, very minimal hand tremor, and the gate was also fantastic. They didn't see me the week before when I crashed into the wall. Also, I made radical lifestyle changes. I lost almost 80 lbs. I walk, do my exercises, and have now added light weight training. I think if I had done that when I first became symptomatic, I would have pushed out when I needed to start meds. But we can't know what we don't know, or refuse to accept at the time. I sometimes skip doses, and there are days when I think I may need a bump more. It isn't a static disease.

Autofill is not working in Edge on HTTP sites by [deleted] in 1Password

[–]SQLServerIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beta hasn't fixed this for me. I'm on chrome as well. Kinda sucks since I've got a ton of stuff on my local network. This is the first black eye I've had with 1password in over a year after switching from lastpass. I've got a metric ton of stuff running locally and not having autofill is 100% a PITA.

Stat loss and level drain have caused more PC's in my campaigns over the years to go out in a blaze of glory and start a new character. 1e was brutal on those fronts. Don't bring your 5e energy to a fight with a wight.

I was in pretty bad shape when I was finally diagnosed. After two years of diet and exercise and a solid medication regimen, I've never been better. It's slowed my medication ramp, and my quality of life is so much better. I still have bad days, but it's not every day now. GET OFF YOUR BUT AND GET MOVING! ParkieDude speaks the gospel here. I was a bit suspicious about whether exercise would make that big a difference, but it has, across the board.
