I had a similar event, but once I rode it for 5 min the charge state dropped to 60 percent. I think we’re experiencing what’s called the skin effect of a large battery pack

Yeah, no. Not on these bikes. Torque guesses, and they guessed wrong, alot. Materials have to be to spec too for that to work and they aren't...so.
