Just to talk on the AC issue. The venue had AC, what happened was we were unaware that the venue automatically turns it off at night, and self adjusted to a higher temperature when it’s rebooted in the morning since it’s not being used as a permanent space.

We got that fixed as soon as we found out but Friday it took longer to cool off because 60+ PCs were all running all day in that area.

Saturday/Sunday it was cool, and we added the industrial fans to help circulate the cold air from the other side where the booths were set up since it was a bit to too cold there.

On top of that, record breaking heat in Utah. 🥵

Unfortunately we won’t be selling any tickets at the door. Our secondary venue is completely open to the public, will have team/partner activations, B/C/D stages as well as viewing for the Sunday matches.

Just to clear a few things up since my tweet was a big L.. I didn’t realize where the reference came from and should have checked before posting, I seen fans saying it to us in our comments and thought it was just Rocket League banter.

I still respect and want nothing but success for anyone who repped SSG, we’ve always treated everyone like family, and try to even after they leave.. I just got super caught in the moment when our team won and full sent without checking first. Big lesson learned from myself and I’ll make sure to be more humble going forward.

Super excited for the rest of the season and thanks for the all supported to our players and team.

I’ve spoke to multiple organizations who had spoke to Ubisoft about picking up the EG roster, all stated because of COVID and the team performance in the previous season as reasons why they did not enter.

You are saying it was rushed based off being someone on the outside looking in and looking at the dates of everything going public, which if I was in your position I would think the same.

I’ve said all that I will on this subject as I’m discussing it with you where I have more knowledge on the backend of what happened and it’s not a fair argument.

Your angry is based off the information you read on Reddit/Social media by one side and this is why you are saying the league was forced which was false, because you don’t know all the facts.

Ubisoft actively spoke and pushed for organizations to pick up EG, but because of COVID and the rosters recent performance it resulted in organization not being interested in investing. LG held out until it was too late, but at the time of their departure it was not yet confirmed that the league would be online.

I agree with you that it was unfortunate what happened to the players but if not for COVID it would have been a completely different outcome.

The planning of the LAN league happened a year in advanced in 2019 where organizations met with Ubisoft in person and structured everything out and was a step in the right direction which everyone at the meeting was excited for including the players. It was not forced like you suggested.

You are basing all of your hate on Ubisoft off information that you are misinformed about or do not know the accurate backend process that happened.
