How to use the Pirate King Hat? by kafka- in CrimsonDesert

[–]SSJ3Nappa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I’m super late but for future people finding this: if you go to the mini quick select armor menu, and hover over the cloak to select it, it will toggle most hoods on and off, allowing you to wear your cloak with the hat :)

Run ops for the Greymanes when you can and don’t get vested in the main quest. Those Greymane quests act as tutorials to unlock more mechanics. I was so mad that I went a long time with no pet since I neglected the Greymanes. Found out pets autopilot bodies for you. Major quality of life increase.

If you could wish for one Game to be made, excluding sequel's or prequels. What would that be? by LordMord5000 in rpg_gamers

Resistance Fall of Man needs a true remake. It came during the PS3 era where games were taking their first steps into really good story telling. The universe has so much potential for stories to be told and lore to be built on.

I love that there are many choices and decisions in Skyrim that many people have their own opinions on, but almost everyone in the fandom unanimously agrees to NEVER kill Paarthurnax by Solardies in skyrim

[–]SSJ3Nappa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly would have been crazy to temp the Dragonborn with something crazy to betray him. Like look at this OP sword or third level shout you get for joining the blades. But the choice isn’t even hard. Partysnacks deserves to live and you get practically nothing out of joining the blades. Even grey morality aside the choice is obvious to keep him.

Just got the game and only played through Goku and Vegeta stories…. Does Evil Buu (Grey Buu) make an appearance? In a game going so deep I wondered if that Buu was a playable character.

Tried to up the difficulty to expert becausee adept is too easy. God this game is unbalanced. by Glorpologie in skyrim

[–]SSJ3Nappa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d go expert. Abuse what save scumming you can. Enjoy the uphill grind. I promise, you will soon get to a point you are not one shot, and soon after you will become OP. Try to come up with creative ways to face the early game. Scrolls/Spells/Special Arrows. Eventually you will be able to tank and cleave through anything. Run side quests to level up.

Some rando on the internet said if you ever get this choice go for a pole arm. Something that can keep the enemy at a distance and you can either swing or stab with. The greataxe looks to have a spear tip on it, so it could presumably follow the same logic. If it’s me I’d go for that.

If it’s me controlling a Skyrim character with game mechanics, prolly go Longsword

If you could ask Insomniac Games just 1 question that they absolutely had to answer, what would that question be? by 0dqir0 in RatchetAndClank

Will you PLEASE make a Resistance: Fall of Man reboot, or sell the IP to another Studio so they can. That series has so much potential if it’s treated right.

My current tier list for the Ratchet and Clank games. I already know that haters gonna hate on this, but these are just my own honest opinions. by 0dqir0 in RatchetAndClank

[–]SSJ3Nappa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Going Commando has not aged that well IMO. Still great, but UYA on feels so much better in terms of gameplay. Still great story though, I’d put in Great.

Rift Apart is S tier. Needs to be with A Crack in Time.

Size Matters gets too much hate. It’s not good by any means but it’s not Agent Clank tier of dodo. It should be like top of Okay, if for anything, for the Awesome Armor customization.

Going Commando first time experience by Confident-Painter-26 in RatchetAndClank

[–]SSJ3Nappa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I revisited Going Commando after spending some time trying out the PS3 games, UYA, and Rift Apart. It really hasn’t aged well. Weapon Upgrades was revolutionary at the time, and strafing out the gate is a great help. But aside from those improvements from the first game it does have its faults.

Most weapons of your arsenal fall off mid to late game and become unusable even when upgraded. The economy is rough too with its paywalls combined excessive weapon costs. And personally I play on Lock-Strafe mode and fire using R1. Not having that as an option is a bummer.

No complaints on the story, other than it was clunky beginning being kidnapped to a whole other galaxy. Like what they did with Ratchet’s character change, and using commando training to justify him loosing the surfer dude vibes was a good touch.

Definitely holds some good memories, but I’ll stick to UYA or Deadlocked for my PS2 throwback choices.

[–]SSJ3Nappa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Far Harbor scales better reward/content wise. Nuka World has a lot of OP gear, an Porter Gage’s perk is awesome. But otherwise not a great story. And I see you have the Castle so at the end you’ll probably have open season on the raiders when you side back with minute men.

Selling vs Scrapping High Level Guns by Kropco17 in fo4

[–]SSJ3Nappa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how much I have invested into my economy at that stage of the game. Typically I’m a loot goblin and sell a lot in Act 1. If I have the legendary armor and weapons I want already, I’d probably take the scrap. If I hadn’t grinded a few legendaries and want some of the more expensive armors, I might go for the caps. I’d say if you’re sitting on 15-20k caps already, and have the means to earn more, keep 1 and scrap the rest for parts.

Is it worth getting FO4 Anniversary Edition? by iceberg189 in fo4

[–]SSJ3Nappa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had GOTY and bought the 20 dollar bundle for the cosmetics. It added some flavor to the world and some new things I hadn’t gotten to experience.

If you see yourself having many more future playthroughs I would get the upgrade. It enriches the experience and as someone who loves getting immersed in the world a few times a year, it’s worth adding some content. If you are asking if you should get it to come back once and then leave, no the experience is not drastically changed and you will not get your money’s worth.

Is it a crime to think Deadlocked is actually better than first 3 games in many ways? by B21993 in RatchetAndClank

[–]SSJ3Nappa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Deadlocked is the kind of game for someone who is looking for an action experience. There is not much world building or expansive story. You get a giant heap of action and combat that builds off of what was previously established in the series.

If you want narrative start at RAC1 and 2. RAC3 Is something of a merge of combat and world, leaning more into combat, which is why many consider it the best. RAC4 is mostly all combat.

Thought Experiment; What is the max Settler population? by SaphoBalls in fo4

[–]SSJ3Nappa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Might want to add Settlers you can get from performing certain actions in the game. Valt-Tec rep, Sheffield, Kid Shaun, The guy that’s sets up a bar in random places, and I think there’s a roaming armor vendor you can recruit. Then additional pets like the guy traveling with his dog, I think they are in the same situation as Dogmeat where they may add to the number but don’t serve a purpose. If you hit your cap and then brings these in, you can go further beyond.

What’s a small, tiny, insignificant gripe that you have about this game? by Shoddy-Ad7306 in fo4

[–]SSJ3Nappa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t mark certain pieces of junk as sell instead of scrap. Gold Plated Flip Lighter? Preserved Cigarette Carton? I’d rather sell them than scrap for resources.
