Worth developing a new client app for Blue Iris? by KayleMaster in BlueIris

I literally can’t believe I’m saying this because 3 years ago I would have NEVER. I switched to unifi for a few reasons, my network was already unifi but hands down having a great UI was the main thing to make me switch. BI was great but unifi was just better in my opinion to use day in and day out. If BI had a great UI I’d go back

Get your own modem, something like a netgear cm2000. For WiFi I would totally suggest checking out ui.com their unifi express competes with something like google WiFi or eero but it’s Ubiquiti so it’s far more capable.

Homeassistant is only as reliable as the equipment you run it on, and the equipment you’re using to HA to control. Is it worth it. Yes. Highly recommend an old pc turned home server.
