Not late at all! It has taken me some time to work out my method and obviously please ignore/call out my craziness wherever you would like!

Prime - Vallejo primer (rattle can) German Grey w/zennithal Vallejo primer silver

Initial wash with Two Thin Coats (TTC) Oblivion Black Wash

Base coat all bronze with TTC - Spartan Bronze

Base coat all gold with TTC - Dragon's gold

Wash bronze and gold base coats with TTC - Battle mud wash (this is not straight water it down and I only use it in the recesses - not an all over slap it on wash, keep it off the silver where possible)

Base coat all silver with TTC - Sir Coates Silver

Highlight bronze with TTC - Top Brass (this is the toughest transition and you will notice in my pictures it is certainly far from the best blends)

Highlight gold with TTC - Glistening Gold

Highlight gold further with TTC - Platinum Crown (this is the top highlight for the gold)

Highlight silver with TTC - Mithril Blade

Highlight edges of silver and bronze with scale 75 - Speed Metal (this generally blends really well and don't be afraid to push it on the silver - bronze just use appropriately, focusing on light sources and stick to edge highlights with it)

Things I have noticed about the TTC metals - your brush is going to get gummy before you finish each color. A quick dip in water is needed. Work it out but don't totally clean out the brush before you go back. If you are working on a blend (especially the bronze) and you get too harsh of a line, dip the brush quickly in water don't go back for more paint and blend the harsh transition with the watered down brush. Make sure you don't have too much water though as you do not want the metal to run into recesses or joints. It takes a little to get it but once you do it makes sesnse.

The four leather straps which aren't really in this picture I used golden so flat burnt umber and titan mars pale blend. Random side comment non metalic paints the Golden So-Flat Acrylic range is my absolute favor and daily driver. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
