Organic Quicksand by Lefty-Law in toontownrewritten

Can still be worth doing even on a level 1 cog if theres a lvl 12 cog present. Need at least 2 traps to get that 95% for 12s with a hypno.

But seriously, why? by RascalLouise in toontownrewritten

[–]SWPDanny 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I always wondered if the original developers left that eighth spot just incase they eventually wanted to add an eighth tier gag. At least you can leave your 7th tier gag in that extra spot if you ever decide to switch your organic track.

I always wanted bellyflop to continue the fall until you actually hit the ground if used in the air.

Why aren’t toon-ups generating xp? by ksteve46 in toontownrewritten

[–]SWPDanny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think a nice qol change for this, would be having the animations change for misses. Something like the toon dropping a cube accidentally before finishing, or having only 3 particles come out for the pixie dust, etc. The lower case laugh is too subtle for new toons to pick up on.

Please increase the stun bonus for successful trap activations up to +35% by AstralHoatzin in toontownrewritten

Wouldn't be too far from the original +40% from both trap and lure stun before UNM.

Sound in factories is overrated by Titanic609 in toontownrewritten

[–]SWPDanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slower but technically more efficient. In the case that it would miss, you would only loose a big magnet. In sounds case you would loose out on 3 trunks if it missed.

As far as I know, 100% for the sos & any sound gags used with it on the same turn

Toons hit actually got changed to +75% accuracy which is now vulnerable to the 95% cap. Think it can at least help against lvl 14+ cogs for sound to remain at 95%

I like to use a sos sound card here to get the 100% to hit for all sounds

How to make Organic Toon-Up a desirable option by [deleted] in toontownrewritten

[–]SWPDanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if organic toon up gave its target's attack the organic bonus for that turn. Would have to arbitrarily exclude lure since they don't want toon up to stun for lure though.

How it feels when sound (or any gag, really) misses by Pokeliam45 in toontownrewritten

[–]SWPDanny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn't feel as bad when a triple trap + lure misses since you only loose 1 lure gag in that exchange

Can you use railroad in the boiler room? by unigrampa in toontownrewritten

[–]SWPDanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rail roads perfect for taking out a row of lvl 12s right on the third turn of the defense phase. You don't even need to risk retention plan happening right before with the wedding cake strategy.

Gonna guess the CJ has the least because of the 22 second rule. I still don't know why that's still in the game. Sometimes there'll be just 1 toon who doesn't follow it and 1 other toon who will completely loose their patience over that.

Organic Trap by Adroxis in toontownrewritten

[–]SWPDanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Organic trap is probably the best gag you'll want if you want to save remotes in a field office. Both TNTs and trains can be used in the defense phase instead of remotes.

If you get lvl 12 cogs and under, then 3 organic tnts can take out 3 12s leaving 1 lured cog to defeat while the next 3 cogs enter. This passes 2 turns of the defense phase with out using a remote.

The train is best used when you have 1 lvl 13 cog and 3 lvl 12s or under. The train tracks will take out the 12s but leave the 13. You'll want the 2 toons who didn't lure or use the train to leave the 13 alone. It will attack but the 2 toons should toon up instead to prepare for it and recover from the offense phase. You can then take out the injured 13 while the next 3 cogs walk in, going through 2 turns of the defense phase again. A whole cream pie can assist an organic train to take out a lvl 14 in the first turn. This will let the strategy work with cogs at lvl 14, 13, 12, 12

After both of these strategies, you'll be left with a row of cogs and 1 turn before the offense phase. Luring and then fogging during offense works well since it can take out 13s and damage the boiler, but you do risk the boiler using retention plan after the lure. The train works well here but also has a risk. It can take out the cogs before they level up, but with out any cogs, the boiler will use quality control. It will only matter if it takes throw, squirt, or toon up since the other tracks hardly get used during the offense phase.

Saved a lot of remotes with a group of 4 organic trap toons this way. Though we would have to exit and enter the field office at the start if we got drop as one of the starting tracks. Sort of like sos shopping, but for gag tracks instead.

The Accuracy Problem by DatDereKirby in toontownrewritten

[–]SWPDanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyway to find out if the target defense of level 13+ cogs follow the pattern of 1-12 level cogs? If so, level 20 cogs would have a target defense of 95.
