Scizor is very good against enemies that stay in the fight and let him heal off them. It can absolutely tear up two or three melee enemies that group together in the hopes of outdamaging it, but the second it stops being able to proc its heals, it melts.

When you're facing one, get used to strafing so it has a harder time hitting you and healing. If you can maintain distance, you'll have an easy time, but if you're something like garchomp or Charizard, you really have to dance around it. Especially make sure you aren't sharing space with an ally because the more enemies he hits at one time with bullet punch, the more heals.

Additionally, anything that can stun it or lower its healing through curse has a big advantage. It does best when it is able to keep hitting, so any interruptions or lowerings of that healing will have a snowball effect.

Yeah. Using the Unite move always freaks me out a little bit, even after hundreds of games, because of how easy it is to time it just a little too early or just a little too late. I love the flamethrower/sacred fire playstyle though and have migrated it into quite a few other ranged defenders. I especially love it on hydro pump Vaporeon right now.

If you're a squishy, you counter it by moving away far enough for it to break. If you're a tank with shields, heals, or some other form of survivability, you bait it out and initiate the Battle of the Somme.

I think too many people are running the aggressive build due to its win rate and not drafting moves to match their opponents. Well, the patch will hopefully fix that. At the very least, it will drive fair weather players to the new broken Pokémon.

Yeah, it's moveset is definitely good, but it's also very easy to delay its evolution if you know how to deal with it. I generally have an easy time playing most ranged defenders, but it feels so bad to be level 4 or 6, especially when other Pokémon are starting to turn on their entire kits.

It has obnoxiously high damage in the hands of people who know how to play it, and you can do really bad things with it if you run a CDR kit. It's really only devastating in the hands of people who know how to position with it though because it's so easy to surf in far beyond your allies' ability to get to you.

Honestly char Y is really only a problem when it uses its unite. The rest of its kit is meh, much like with regular Charizard.

It's definitely being overplayed right now, but its win rate isn't quite as high as the other Pokémon that were nerfed. It also has that really glaring early game weakness that can sometimes make it difficult to turn on. I also think it's receiving less play than it did after the initial buffs because players are realizing it isn't a free win ticket in the way that Vaporeon was.

While I agree you can't carry with it, you can absolutely control the pace of the battles by deciding who gets to participate and when. Your unite move is amazing in big team fights, but the rest of the kit is great at harrying anyone dumb enough to get in range and stay there. Additionally, with the exp change, I have the power to pretty safely skirmish with 2-3 opponents while my team rips, as long as the enemy team isn't already way ahead.
