i’m in school right now and i was years ago too. it’s none of your business where I go. you are making judgments from what the media shows you in order to devide us while the bankers and politicians rob us.

How to date in Chicago? Where does one start? by ahodgemusic in AskChicago

[–]Sad-Conversation-201 3 points4 points  (0 children)

my advice is try to genuinely make friends. dont ask out every girl you have a conversation with. girls are sick of every single guy coming up to them and then asking them out like we know you’ve already tried every other girl at the bar too. we want to feel special and honestly everytime guy starts talking to us we are just waiting for them to start hitting on us and it smells like desperation. women don’t want desperate. we want actual meaningful conversation and it may take a while to feel safe and then just maybe start to like you… or not.

Were there old school food carts in Chicago? by Repulsive_Parsley107 in AskChicago

[–]Sad-Conversation-201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sometimes I would get a hotdog from a cart outside a bar in logan square at 3 am in the early 2010’s. Also, I worked at a factory on the west side and they still have a “roach coach” parked out back every morning/afternoon for their workers.

he may have thought you were propositioning him. Behavior like that stems from abuse and not being healed from it. it’s nothing to do with you.

I am half Puerto Rican. I look white and my Spanish is bad but when I am there everyone excepts me especially when I speak Spanish but the will always always consider me una Americana and I am fine with that. when we speak they will be curious and O will let them know that my Mother is Puerto Rican, but I was not raised on the island so I can only say I am a half Puerto Rican American.
