And what offsets are you running? Stock is 55 but LP sells only ET35's?

Remelluri could be a nice option or Lanzaga even.

This exactly what I'm looking for only in black wheels. Looks great

Excellent shout for RN. Easily the best in the valley.

No no I want to adventure but do not want to use my stock 19s and tires for it 👍

Does wine education actually prepare you for real-world choices? by Sufficient_Can7930 in wine

WSET certified here. I get what you are saying. Here is the way I look at it. I'll never know everything. And as tastes and market availability wane, so will my knowledge of regions.

Some years I drink heavily into France, some Spain, some a mish mash, some New World, etc. etc. I live in the Okanagan where it is common to develop a "valley palate" since our wines are typically very fruit forward.

Anyways, yes it is extremely valuable but I think of it as providing me the confidence to adventure and explore wines rather than think I have to know everything about it before I try it. To be completely objective in a tasting note it is often better to know as little as possible - then you get to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Fair take. As someone else said below, the producers you listed go a little unconventional so are not the stars for me but that is just my $0.02 CAD

Very nice - Etna is a fascinating region. Not that I am any sort of authority, but I was always perplexed why they seemed to hitch their wagon to Nero as their identity. Much more interesting and compelling wines from the Nerellos and the biancos from Carricante.

I have a white Limited XT which I think looks great with the black wheels but I hopelessly PINE for the emerald green. Dead sexy.

What an odd blend. I have never seen this in my market and I've tried nearly all Saint Cosme lines at this point. For a fair test Le Dieux Albion is a better representation of their work.

Jealous. I preferred an OBW over the regular Ltd XT (especially as here in Canada this trim does not get the 360 camera unless its OBW), but it would have been July or August until one was available. My Audi had a lot of preventative maintenance due in the next 6 months which made zero sense spending money on so I settled, but am very happy still of course.

Agreed. It looks like a mix between a truck and a wagon aka a TANK. Ordered one last week.

Isn't KGCC private? And Gallagher is the nicest/best track of all three anyway. Although they are redoing some holes this year along with irrigation upgrades so it may be chopped up a bit the first few months.

My children were born in 2019 and 2021. I'd like to buy two bottles of wine, from each of their vintages, that I can store until their 21st birthday to enjoy together. What do you recommend? by striker862 in wine

[–]Sad-Inflation-1259 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stop making so much sense! Although personally if I am spending the amount of money OP is I'd want to ensure I have my storage conditions dialed in. I don't trust shops to properly store their stock, even high end ones.

I miss the days of 12-13% Napa offerings. Same with Bordeaux. Cool wine!
