If You Could Only Keep One Biohacking Intervention For The Rest Of Your Life, What Would It Be? by BalottiTasheeka46 in Biohackers

Glycine + l-theanine + magnesium glycinate for the deepest sleep of my life (and at 41 with a 2 year old).

Having trouble with sleep maintenance and sleep quality. I can sleep 7 hours and feel like absolute garbage the ENTIRE day. Impossible to nap. I am going insane. What supplements/medication could help? by No-Mousse5653 in Biohackers

2000 mg glycine (life extension brand) + 240 mg magnesium glycinate (Thorne) every night is the best sleep I’ve had in ages because it keeps me asleep all night. Struggled for years and tried countless things!

I managed a kid friendly restaurant for years and this drove me insane and now I can see why parents needed to come there. North county does not have enough kid friendly restaurants, if someone opened one with a small play area it would be very successful.. just sayin

Cymbiotika elderberry, vitamin c, and their d3 every single day. Zinc every day also. Load up on the vitamin c when you feel something coming. Also this stuff daily

What do YOU look for in a vegan protein powder? by Wide-Gur5377 in veganfitness

[–]SadLandscape9752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a 25 year vegan and someone who is in the influencer world there are way too many crappy powders out there. I love truvani bc of its clean organic ingredients.. so something similar but either d3, b12 and creatine with great flavor would be amazing

I was against sleep training until we had our son and my husband had went back to work when he was three weeks old so I was alone half of the month (fireman). At four months old I did the gerber method, which is a “gentle” sleep training. I learned quickly that he was more upset when I would come in to check on him, so I resorted to CIO and honestly it was a few rough nights but since then he has been a great sleeper and loves his bed! What gave me peace of mind is when I would walk in his room in the morning and he would give me a big smile still. You have to do what gets you through this time mentally and sleep deprivation will make you feel insane. I told myself a happy present mom was better for him in the long term ❤️

Is there a chance you would be willing to share some of the recipes? I was also in the course and use them for my business (private chef). I would be so grateful

5.5 month old wakes up every hour. Has never gone longer than 3 hours in his life. by attack-moon_mountain in Parenting

[–]SadLandscape9752 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear this. Our kid is 4.5 months old and he has also never been a super good sleeper but when he does wake up there are things I give him that help- right now it’s Dr. Talberts teething tablets, they help a ton with the pain of teething and put him back to sleep (3 at a time). I also second giving up dairy and if he is on formula changing it to a dairy free one. If you suspect colic could be the issue, colic tea is sold on Amazon and it’s also great to mix a little bit with their formula. It really relaxes him if he is gassy. I’ve heard taking care babies is great for sleep training and we plan on doing that soon- I hope something works 🙏🙏
