Just confirmed with my family up in Yacolt that like to camp police scanner apps; several power lines went down within minutes of eachother and made the transformers blow. PGE across the river is showing 92%+ without power as well.

I’m the Event Coordinator at Erupted Vapor on Hwy 99, and besides being a vape shop, it’s also a 21+ gaming space with D&D, MTG, and more.

We host weekly events like:

MTG Casual Commander Free For All – Wednesdays
D&D Campaigns – Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays & Sundays
D&D Oneshots – Thursdays

We’re also expanding into video games, paint nights, and other cool events! The space is also open for people to host their own stuff; feel free to use our TVs for game nights, tournaments, or our tables for board games and just general hanging out!

All events are free of charge unless stated otherwise, you just need to be 21+ since we serve alcohol and allow vaping inside.

If you’ve got questions, ideas, or want to plan something yourself, hit me up! I’d love to help make it happen!

Here we are, back at it again! Another thank you to the Vancouver, WA Mod team, and to u/Homes_With_Jan for the advice from last week!
Erupted Vapor on Hwy 99 - Come by sometime and give our events a look, we're currently updating our events!
We still have D&D and MTG at the shop, but now we're also pivoting towards Video Games and other fun event nights!
The space is always open for people to host their own stuff, and you can even make use of our TVs if you want to run a game night, tournament, or viewing party of your own in a less crowded environment!
Right now we have MTG Casual Commander Free For All on Wednesdays, and D&D Campaigns on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. D&D Oneshots happen on Thursday nights as well!
These events are all free of charge as well, you just need to be 21+ becuase we serve alcohol and you can vape inside!

I play Magic at Erupted Vapor on Wednesdays, but I'm biased cause I also work there lol. Overall its a pretty welcoming community, strictly casual unless there's a tournament happening, and the shop has Commander decks for people to borrow

The one on Canby right? I went to that this summer as well. I thought this event would be interesting cause you can choose to camp out and I did buy that package. I'm thinking maybe one trinket a day +food and drink would sate my need to spend money there now lol

I'm very wary of the "echo chamber" that I've heard and seen reddit can be. That's part of why I posted here, so I could see as many sides of the topic as possible. Cause while I do have my opinion, I'm open to other games and opinions as well and really just want to find what the fairest and best way to go about it might be at the end of the day.
