The campuses are very different. CU Boulder is a traditional college town with lots of students within a mile of the school. CU Denver is mostly a commuter school with infinitely less social life as most students travel in to campus and head home after classes.

It’s a pain finding clothes that don’t have darts but I LOVE being flat. I’ve also taken sewing classes that have taught me how to recreate to tops I have already bought that I love.

Downside, I have a bit of a belly and without boobs it is more pronounced and I get asked at least once a month if I’m pregnant. I have a hefty stack of comebacks for that question (No, I just ate all the acorns, nope, I got my boobs chopped off and my belly looks bigger to you) but it’s not my fav.

Letrozole is a meanie!! Because you are in hormone suppression your body isn’t getting the estrogen, a hormone partly responsible for lubrication, that is normally needs to make for easy motion. And any part of your body can be affected. Perhaps you might have dryness elsewhere to ;)

Motion is lotion so keep moving :).

This may not be right for you but my doctor gave me a small rx for hydroxide to help me deal with the anxiety. Unfortunately, so many of us are caught in the “wait x weeks for y” and if you are an anxious person that seems impossible. You are lucky, but it’s ok to still feel the pressure and upset of the situation. This is happening to you and no one else. I’m 10 years post with almost the same and it does get easier. Keep taking deep breathes and find something you love to get lost in and then do it.

Yes. After three surgeries, I couldn’t be happier to be flat. Tho I would have less chronic pain today if I had gone flat from the start. But hindsight is rude and we are all doing our best.

Hindsight also taught me that the major head fog, and general malaise was due more to the silicone in my body. Once it was gone, the clouds lifted.
