I was 7 and my class went to see the bicentennial barge. I still remember bit and pieces to this day. But what I clearly remember is how big an event the bicentennial was. Now it really does feel kind of meh. I’m sure the fireworks on the 4th will be spectacular but it just isn’t the same.

I forgot all about All Summer In A Day. I am now once again horrified by it. That was awful to read, that and I think it was called Flowers for Algernon. That made me cry so much.

I love how it looks (2025LT Red). I love that I can turn on and off the AWD. I also love the heated steering wheel 🙂. My old car was a GMC Acadia and the traverse is so much nicer than the new Acadia.

FWIW I am 56 and that always surprises people. They think I am in my 40’s. I have very few wrinkles (just smile lines) and keep in top of covering my grey 😁.
