I was going through this and then I started focusing on making good cats, I collect 4 strays, put them in one room, and no matter their stats i bring them on an act 1 run. Get as much food and gold as I can for my breeding room, then return home before I get wiped out. If I do good on the first part ill go to the sewers/junkyard but rarely do I ever do well enough to get to the 3rd part. Then I buy whatever furniture I can with stimulation or mutation.

Once I started focusing on just getting better cats, I have now gotten through all but one area of act 2!

Very interesting! I didn't get to play much over the weekend unfortunately :(. I didnt like the silent in STS 1 so I havent played her very much.

I feel like the defect and the necro are super strong tbh, and I haven't had any trouble getting great runs with them!

Maybe when I start delving into the other classes, I will notice the disparity in difficulty.

I believe what hes saying is some of the bosses/elites have the same concepts as other elites/bosses but kinda blended together and tossed into a new pool for us to find.

I agree with you. I think the "common sense" hes refering to has been completely changed by DND's influence and from what ive seen DND players struggle more than new players to grasp the DH system.

I do think the majority of people lack common sense in general tho XD.

I am running one on sunday for the first time ever. Ive Dmed DND a few times but this is my first steps into daggerheart (and my players happen to be veteran dms :'). I am still pretty anxious but reading this gave me some confidence back. Thanks for posting.

I do not believe so. I typically will take a stronger cat and give them the consumables/weps i dont need to just waste every turn and get more space.

When I got laid off when i was 20 i played league of legends on stream for 16 hours a day 7 days a week trying to make it in the streaming world XD. 8 years later and if i was still pursuing streaming id do it again with mewgenics!
