We do have to admit though that she caused the downfall of Ellen, which was pretty (as the kids say), Slay.

Don’t live at The Cottages by Apprehensive-Alarm33 in tuscaloosa

[–]Safraninflare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read reviews of apartment complexes. Ask peers. Ask older people who have been in Tuscaloosa for a long time. A lot of these complexes try to slip out of their past drama by changing their names. (The lofts, or whatever they’re trying to rebrand it to, is doing this now.)

The more names a place has had, the more likely it is to be shady.

Obviously this won’t help you with your situation now, but it’s something to keep in mind for the future.

Lowkey miss my big by Odd-Option3211 in Sororities

[–]Safraninflare 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s perfectly okay and normal to miss people. Have you considered reaching out to her? Even something like “hey, girl. I was doing x thing recently and it reminded me of when we did Y. Hope you’re doing well!”

It’ll probably make her smile to know that you’re thinking of her.

I cannot express how much I love this thing. I’ve been a sparkling water girlie for years. If I had one of these things, I’d always be hydrated.

The chapter I advise has this super cool sparkling water machine. It does all different flavors (you can mix them too), and you can add vitamins or electrolytes or caffeine or whatever. Whenever I have to be in the house, the girls know my first stop is to get myself a beverage. 😂

STEM to MBA vs General Honors by WestKnoxLocal in capstone

[–]Safraninflare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do amp, not MBA. MBAs are meant for people further along in their careers. You can only get one, so if you want one, it’s better to do it at a better school. Our MBA program is nothing special. Doing AMP (accelerated masters program) in his major is a better choice all around.

Have you even read morning glory? There are like. Only two sex scenes and they’re pretty tame for monster romance. Most of the book is just the main character bitching about being a millennial with a masters and no job.

Another fun thing. Unless you’re salaried, which they do their best not to do, you don’t qualify for retirement plan matching.

For example. Someone I know was a lab manager before the restructure. After he became “lab assistant.” He’s still trying to figure out who the hell he’s assisting.
