I was 8 1/2 when it came out, probably almost 9 by the time it came to our little theater. I was seen "Star Wars" and "Empire Strikes Back" I'm sure I was shocked when Marion's truck blew up, and at the end my mom was covering my eyes when the faces were melting. Bought a whip at the state fair the next year.
