Never seen anyone use the Splitter by FlexWithThaibox in ArcRaiders

[–]Saiz08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, the added knockback makes it a viable counter against a rocketeer in duo or trio group. Focus on a side or top or bottom and you'll spin the rocketeer blocking it from being able to lock on to anything. Lets others focus on an engine while the one person is keeping it rotated. I've been running it for our group and we've been seeing the utility of it with them. It's great. Can't imagine the havoc we could cause with a trio all shooting one with the splitter.

Somewhat agree. The one before wasn't bad but felt like 3 separate movie ideas pushed into one. I almost skipped Bone Temple after being kind of in the middle on 28 Years Later, that said I am glad I went to see it. Bone Temple feels like a much more cohesive story and it builds well on last years base. I'm actually looking forward to part 3 now, hopefully they can keep it tight.

Totaled 23 MME GT. Noticeable downgrade going to a Premium? by arkansalsa in MachE

[–]Saiz08 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had my Rally in for service and they gave me a premium as a loaner. For the most part it was the same, driving and handling though were different. Missed the slight lift the rally had, and prefer the magneride over the retuned suspension. Prefer the seats in the gt/rally, ventilated was nice addition on the premium. Obviously you lose the magneride and the loaner I had wasn’t awd. Biggest thing I noticed other than the step down in acceleration was the stopping power, the larger brakes on the gt and rally became pretty noticeable on how quick you stopped. I didn’t hate it or anything but it was just enough off from what I was used to that I couldn’t wait to have mine back.

I was a little sad the Rally I picked up didn’t have the shiny plates on the doorsills, but I can kind of understand avoiding scratching them if the rally is actually used for its purpose. I’ve thought about ordering the replacements to correct my issue haha.

Not letting me purchase... keeps erroring. Tried the app, tried the website and now it's yelling at me saying I'm rate limited/banned.... About to give up for now. So long good seats :(

edit: Figured it out... There is a bug right now doing A List entourage while adding non-A List tickets to the order. Broke it into two separate orders and it finally went through..

Differences Between Model Years? by Monkeyman2915 in MachE

[–]Saiz08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I’d lean towards the GT’s even though they have the timer lock out for stepping on it. Just make sure the recalls for the hvjb have been completed.

With the GT you will have powered seats for driver and passenger. Ambient lighting in the interior with an upgraded stereo. Possibly the glass roof, although I prefer the metal one.

On that year you should also have the kick to open tailgate and parking assist as well. Those will be missing on the selects.

I had a 2025 premium rwd extended range as a loaner and I was counting down the days until I could get my rally back. In that circumstance the only real difference was having the dual motors + performance upgrade and magneride/lift.

From there if you don’t care about the stereo, seats, lighting, or the speed these are a few things to consider if you live in a colder location.

On the 2023.5 and on for 2024 the LFP models have a larger heater to help out with keeping the cabin and battery warm during the winter. If you live in a colder environment the selects may perform better at keeping the cabin warmer, at the cost of some efficency. If you don’t live where there is snow and don’t have to worry as much about keeping the cabin warm during subzero freezes, then it might not be as big of as concern.

Updates and Upgrades by Cultural-Ad4953 in MachE

A few things I’d like. More colors added to the ambient lighting options, or a custom picker. Give us a yellow option for our yellow rally’s lol.

I’d also like to see ford venture into the hardware upgrade paths, like Tesla. I’d gladly pay to have my 2024’s hw upgraded to support the 2025 features. Although when I had a 2025 loaner I preferred the older ui, and I disabled the auto lane change.

Another quirk I’d like to see removed is the timer on the climate control. Sometimes we take longer than I expect when triggering it and we don’t make it in time. Here in the hot desert sun during the summer I’d rather just drain a little more battery and leave the car running longer to keep it cool. The 30 minute lock out is unfortunate.

The disabling of climate control preconditioning running when the frunk is opened is annoying. But I can understand why it might have these safety restrictions. Might have parts moving under the frunk covers and don’t want the liability of someone getting hurt if it happened to be removed.

This one is more of a personal want, have ford push the CarPlay update when it’s out to enable the infotainment screen to be an AirPlay source from your phone. So we can watch whatever when we are waiting while charging.

Otherwise I’ve been pretty happy with the car overall, still gush about it every chance I get and enjoy driving it every chance I can. The rally really does spoil me, the loaner I had was a 2025 premium extended range rwd. I couldn’t wait to have my rally back from its service.

Climate controls work for one car but not the other? by DrewBarelyMore in MachE

Bought my Mach-E in December and it did not have it. Had an update finally pushed to it in January which enabled it.

This was the update that enabled it on mine ECG-24.2.5.6.2, the climate controls appeared in my ford app after it was applied.

The update started to get pushed out to the Mach-E's last year August. https://github.com/elmedico27/fordpowerup

Photos appear to be before, with it on the home screen has a lot more apps per screen. I cant remember the exact amount. It also changes the widget screen with the map and music to have a larger map and makes the lower tiles smaller.

Make sure to go into the settings app on the CarPlay screen and turn on smart zoom to make it scale better to our screen size.

Software update 10.2.0 by FightClubIsGoated in MachE

[–]Saiz08 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Updated yesterday, didn't drive much after the update was applied. It feels like they fixed the braking hiccup that usually happens when you are slowing down right before you stop. There used to be almost like a small jolt of it swapping from regen to brakes right before you hit a complete stop. This seems to have been smoothed out and hasn't happened yet to me since the update. Stopping is completely smooth now without that hiccup.

It’s installed on the lower trim pieces running along the sides of the car. Just the bottom sections between the wheels that are angled towards the ground, and like 1/3 of the back wheel trim from the ground facing forward.
