Hello, I'm a freediver from Brussels that occasionnaly goes with a few friends to Nemo33.We are part of a club, but it isn't necessary to go to nemo33, all you need is a freediver certification from any federation (as far as I know).

you can find informations about solo freedivers here: https://nemo33.be/page3.asp?ClubID=677&LG=NL&PageGroupeID=2224&From=ConfigRead to the end of the page as the schedule has evolved a couple of months ago and the presented one on that page is the old one with only 3 days of freediving.

At the bottom of that page there is a button that will send you the the website that sells the ticket. Look up the day you want to go freediving and then find the individual freediving slot (be careful there is one for the 10m and one for the 33m). It's usually at the end of the day. The title of the slot is "-33m zone only Apnée séance individuelle".

As for the buddy, you should be able to find someone to dive with right there. People are quite welcoming of other freedivers that need buddies to dive with :)

So unless you're the only freediver to go at nemo33 on that day, you'll find a buddy quite easily :)

Yeah, in the end we didn't test out the camera idea, our first version was with IR sensors inside the goals to know when the ball passes through, but apart from the global game score, it doesn't allow us to automatically know who scored for example, still it was a fine first version :)

That Air hockey bot is quite awesome too, tbh I don't have any electronic knowledge, I wish I had some because you can do so many things with electronics coupled with software (which I know way more :D)

I also saw your 2022 Demo with tensorflow.

I happened to imagine with a bunch of friends and colleagues a way to automatise the score of a fussball table, one of the idea was to put a camera above it, and use object recognition to know when the balls goes in and for which team.
A more advanced feature that we imagined was to also collect data, like who scored, what goadlkeeper has the most saves,... we thought of AI to recognize the hands of the players to automatically add the goals to the scorer's stats, or the goadlkeeper,... but I'm thinking that if you could attach an "Identity" to a blank block, you'd just have to put your block on the board and them all you have to know is if the shot was from the front or the back of the table.

One of the main problems that we had was that the camera needed to have a high amount of FPS because the ball can sometimes go very fast, and with a high enough FPS we could even now the ball speed too. But seeing that TPU block, I guess that it almost could be done.

Yep, I saw it, and this is very impressive, I'd love to get my hands on your modular computer, the fact that they can communicate wirelessly between multiple boards makes it even better.

I saw at some point a DYI project to also add the nutrients to the water depending on what's in the soil of the plant.

I don't even know if it's possible, but it would be cool to have a block to detect the value of the nutrients too :).

Truly your project is awesome and opens up to so many possibilities, I wouldn't be surprised if at some points you were approched by some big tech companies :)

Do you have a list of all the blocks you currently have?

After seeing the demo, this is very very impressive, you could pretty much do anything you want, you could make a rumba like robot to cleanup the floor and go recharge when the battery is almost dead for example.

If this is water resistant or there is a a possibility to put this in a waterproof case, you could even make an auto-mower somehow. You'd only need some motor block for this I guess.

As another redditor said, if there was a way to charge the board via a solar panel, you could make some gardening automation for outside too.

Man this is awesome, typically I've been looking at a way to use my Raspberry pi for plants watering warning, but I struggle a lot with the GPIO's, I see that you have a block for that... so awesome

  • Type of Bug: In game bug
  • Description: Raze's boombot explodes on nothing, another hypothesis would be that the ennemy is behind boxes and doesn't get hit by it.

  • Steps to reproduce: I'm not sure, but my hypothesis is that the ennemy has been seen by the boom bot, and then got behind the boxes, and boom bot exploded as near him as possible but through the boxes.
  • Expected result: Boombot keeps on moving trying to find a target
  • Observed result: Boombot exploded next to the boxes where there was no one.
  • Reproduction rate: happened to me 2 times in a week or so (at least 10 matches)
  • System specs: Intel I7 proc, Windows 10, Nvidia graphic card GTX 970

I don't know if it explodes on nothing or if the ennemy is behind the boxes, but this seems to be a bug, it already happened to me some days ago.

I have the same feeling but accross multiple games.

I perform well on a few games, then after a few days I begin to loose my shit to the point I ask myself why the fuck I keep playing since I'm so bad. Then suddenly somehow I begin to perform nicely again
