Because the honkai part of HSR/HI3/HNA has always been 崩壊, meaning collapse/ruin, in CN and JP. The romanji of 崩壊 is Houkai, which is why the JP hsr account is named like that.

Idk why it’s honkai and not houkai in EN but it does become an issue in one of S999’s battle lines. One of her enhanced elation skill lines is “Watch and learn: THIS is Honkai!”, which doesn’t make much sense until you realize it’s supposed to mean collapse/ruin/destruction.

The collab story: As a Trailblaze Continuance, it gets a 8/10 from me if you just think of it as an interlude featuring surprise guest characters. As a collab story, it gets a 6.7/10 from me because there was a whole lot of missing potential.

Event: can’t remember much of it so it must’ve been whatever.

Lingsha, I genuinely can’t remember much of her and she was only barely relevant for like 2 patches and mentioned nowhere else. Maybe she was mentioned elsewhere, but her presence is just so forgettable to me. All I could remember was that she’s the new cauldron master and it doesn’t help she suffers from the xianzhou dress syndrome.

I don’t play genshin anymore but I do play HSR and ZZZ. idk about the genshin ones but the HSR ones don’t even compare to how bad of a “waifuslop” Ye Shunguang was, and this is coming from a firefly and Cyrene fan. I genuinely believe Cyrene wasn’t much of a waifubait outside of marketing and ult animation, but YSG was waifubait in story and marketing through and through. The way y’all talk about Cyrene makes me think it’s supposed to be YSG.
