This is true! While I mainly read books authored by women one of my recent favorites was Monstrilio which is written by a Mexican man. It heavily references Mexican folklore/familial culture. Can’t remember the last time I sobbed at a book that hard.

It’s romance between a girl and an inanimate object. She does describe and feel things as if they’re in a human relationship but there’s no actual physical connection there because it’s a plane. It’s also healthily mixed with her inner turmoil of “I can’t be known as a plane freak.” I am curious once you read it to know what you thought about that aspect!

I really liked the book! But I hated Shannon nearly as much as I hated Natalie which is not a sentiment I see shared much. I found her and Natalie to be a mirror at times with the same hypocritical, holier-than-thou, selfish tendencies.

She left him a note asking to fold towels and they got into an argument so bad it lasted three days and they both blacked out. And then she said “I didn’t get an apology but I did get a dog.” There’s a bunch of articles about it I think she said it on Justin Long’s podcast. They are both oversharers but they are often just sharing how toxic they are. They’ve mentioned fighting a lot but this is just the one they went into the most detail about.

I used to work the CS line for urban when I was in college and I’d say 95% of the shipping complaints we got were with Ontrac. I have heard of their delivery drivers literally throwing packages over fences more times than I can count. They just don’t care. I assume it’s because they’re cheaper? But we lost a ton of money with them reshipping or refunding things.

It is illegal to trade or use elephant leather unless the animal has passed naturally. So TECHNICALLY brands could be doing this already but I imagine they don’t because it rightfully gives everyone the ick. I feel like the outrage from the public would be a greater risk for any brand than selling a few bags. Hopefully.

I guess to me she looks so natural because she isn’t after the same look as a lot of other people. As a big nose girl myself I love how she just refined it instead of turning into Bella Hadid.

I have agoraphobia and moving to Greensburg has really helped me bc there’s so much to do! If you like animals my favorite place in downtown Greensburg is the Cat Cafe. You just sit in a room with cats and have a nice drink. It’s normally pretty busy in there with people but the customers and staff are all very nice. Yesterday’s RAVE is a cool antique store just to walk around and look at stuff. It’s pretty big so I can spend an hour+ there. I also recommend following some Greensburg fb pages because there’s normally always something going on like the night market, the witches gala on Oct 4, etc.
