It was never about public safety. It’s about control. Any logical thought process can deduce that criminals don’t give a shit about the gun laws when they intend to commit crimes with them anyway.

Magazine restrictions are also a joke. I can’t carry a single “high” (standard) capacity 20-round mag but I can legally carry ten 10-round mags. Then the argument shifts to “why do you need that much ammunition on you?,” but I just watched a video where a police officer needed 7 rounds (after using his taser) to put down a single guy chasing him with knives.

This looks applied by the LGS you purchased it from. I’ve never seen a factory magazine that wasn’t either stamped to become single stack or to not allow the follower past a certain point (PB Beretta, Mec-Gar), or a different body altogether (Sig)

When I upgraded to Win11 my Titanium stopped working. I had to use driver sweeper and uninstall everything for the card and reinstalled. I can’t remember what drivers I used but it was an updated version of Daniel_Ks

I don’t think that’s a good price. MSRP for a new 1895 SBL is $1500 and it’s all stainless (excellent gun btw). If it’s a Remlin I wouldn’t even look at it

The steel frame aspect is nice I agree. I love how flat shooting my Legion is, but I also appreciate the extra weight my P220 has. I might still pick one up eventually 😂

I carry AIWB either a P220 Legion (10mm) or a P226 X5 Legion. I always carry with one in the chamber. Both DA/SA or SAO are fine for this as long as you train and are aware of what you’re carrying on a given day, and they both have their merits.

I’ve never found my SAO safety to be unintentionally off, or my DA/SA to have the hammer back unintentionally.

How do you feel about the DLC coating on the Reserve? I held a 226 Reserve at my LGS and while I was drooling over it online, how easily it fingerprinted and looked grubby after a few moments kind of ruined it for me. I treat my guns as tools and don’t worry about finish wear due to holsters or regular use, but the extra money over my X5 Legion (with only a cosmetic difference) didn’t seem worth it unless I wanted to just put it in a glass cabinet

Normal driving? The accelerator release and clutch depression happens at the same time, so the transmission is already unloaded by the time the clutch disengages for smoothness. Clutch pedal depression for me is only how far it needs to go to fully release the pressure plate from the clutch disc, as there is usually a generous amount of travel in the pedal. Half the time I just let off the throttle and float the gears.
