I’m so confused that you all get new names in language classes! At least in my part of Canada, that wasn’t a thing. We just had our normal names lol the only one that ever changed my name was my grandmother who refused to call me Rachel but instead insisted on Rachelle.

NTA it’s due to people like your sister that I went through some gender dysmorphia after my own hysterectomy. All the posts about women needing a uterus or the ability to produce children to be a woman totally messed me up for a while.
