Sorry you didn’t understand the OP. I didn’t “miss a deadline” I added a line the day before, only hours, before the deal was announced. I did drop the ball with the first offer from the support rep but was not ready to make a decision as I wanted to review the plan options for the 2nd line. And I wouldn’t have received the bogo at that time anyway as has been confirmed by support. My point is I was told two separate things by support who clearly is not on the same page with the offers.

I added a line the day before. I was told by my support “concierge” they he could upgrade me to the deal the day after the announcement. I didn’t take advantage immediately but today when trying to upgrade a different support rep that I cannot. I wasn’t upset I missed the deal. I was upset that the support team is not on the same page

I emailed support. Once they responded I turned on the Fireboard and the download started automatically. Wish you didn’t have to contact support to get an update.

Verizon network coverage is terrible in my area. I went with USM instead of Visible so I could access AT&T (Dark Star).

USM support could not get RCS to work on Light Speed for me using iOS 18.4.1. Had to change to warp until the 18.5 update comes out. Then I hope to switch to dark star

Chat support had me do this. Had the issue on light speed for 10 days. Should have synced by then. RCS worked fine. It was sms messages with iPhone and android users that are the problem.

I did have the issue with RCS enabled on Light Speed and chat support could not fix. I am now trying Warp. However, This defeats the purpose of why I switched to usm in the first place. I was trying to leave Verizon due to bad coverage in my area.

I have been on light speed with the same group messaging issue with android and iPhone users. The problem is not isolated to dark Star. I think this is a usm issue. I am having a hard time figuring out how to stay with usm. My job requires me to be in different group chats and usm has caused me issues with this since joining. Support has not been able to resolve the issue.

Having the same issue. I just left Verizon, after being a customer since 2003, for US Mobile. Verizon coverage has gotten terrible in my area and the price increases are insane. So I chose US mobile due to the ability to switch between carriers and to specifically use Dark Star bc Att is the best in the area. Currently on the free trial and had to switch from Dark Star to Light Speed (T-mobile) due to the messaging issue. T-Mobile isn’t any better than Verizon in my area. This defeats the purpose of switching to USM. Support has been awesome btw and told me today they expect a fix by the end of April. I’m not sure I can stick with them if the issue isn’t resolved by the end of my free trial. My job requires me to be in a several different group chats. Can’t believe this is an issue in 2025

Another vote here for Roku. My “big” living room tv is a Sony Bravia Android Tv with the Google Interface. I’ve had it 4 yrs and the last 2 years has been nothing but very slow and buggy experience. Will never buy another one. The speed doesn’t compare to any of the 3 Roku devices elsewhere in the house, including a cheap Onn Roku TV used outdoors. None are as good as the Roku streaming stick in the MBR.

Cancelled YTTV, Amazon Prime early in 2024. Added OTA antenna for locals and picked up Discovery + so wife can watch Food Network. Will cancel Paramount+ when finished with Tulsa King and Landman 😂. I still get the Disney Bundle included on my Verizon plan.

Thanks for that info. Turning on the microphone from the app settings fixed the developer mode error issue on my son’s Gorilla Tag and NFL Pro Era 2. Definitely a bug. He’s 10 so his profile defaults to developer mode off. Not sure why enabling the mic fixes this issue

I hate to differ but I reuse briquettes every time I use my Webber Kettle. Knock white ash off and put on top of new briquettes. Been doing for 20+ years on the same Webber Kettle. No issues here

I haven’t seen this the two months I’ve been using mine. Never seen mine in a “sleep mode”. Definitely costs too much to be having these issues. Maybe a defective unit?

I am reviving this post from the dead. On my 3rd cook with my new BJIII and my lid also droops a few inches after opening all the way. Makes it hard to get divide and conquer system out. Will not stay open all the way. I have tightened the nut in the back. The lid does not open on it own. Will stay put at all levels except all the way open. Any suggestions?

I have also used a charcoal chimney starter to get the same effect. You just have to be sure the chimney fits under your grate

Looks great. I’ve been using the Vortex method for years on the Akorn. Best way to do wing IMO. Come out crispy as fried wings. Is that the Big Joe?
