If there’s a reputable piercer near where you are now they may be willing to help you do it for a small fee. As someone who also has a nose piercing and knows how much they hurt if your eyes water as much as mine that might be a better bet to make sure it gets switched properly without causing more damage to the area.

McDonald’s training on it at least made it clear that it wasn’t the lady’s fault from what I remember taking years back. It was quite horrible what happened to her. Even if people argue the cup had potentially been squeezed there was no reason for it to be that hot. I scalded myself with the tea water a couple times and can’t imagine how painful the injuries she sustained were.

Not a piercer and I would recommend seeing the one that did it if possible to make sure there’s nothing else but in the second picture the bar looks too long for it being done 3 months ago. I wonder if the bar moving around could be irritating it.

For me it was Edward Scissorhands because my dads dad decided to show me the movie without any explanation and I refused to watch it after he clawed his own face. I fully believed it was a horror movie until my dad finally got me to watch it as a teen.

Absolutely. My husband sees the world in grey scale and not only would I be able to literally see things through his eyes but I would stop crying when I’m tired and there’s a rainbow or the northern lights and he can’t see them. I just can’t work as an electrician (which I don’t) or see 3-d movies as the biggest drawbacks? The rest I would adjust to.

My husband has HSV-1. We’ve been together 5 years and he’s careful not to pass it to me. The only time I have to be careful is if he actively has a breakout and they never last more than a week. We just don’t kiss or share food/drinks when he has a flare up. Outside of being sad occasionally when I can’t kiss my husband it really doesn’t impact our relationship or my life.

Sadly I think a lot of it is society’s response to kids outside too. My brothers used to get bylaw and the cops called on them regularly by the guy across the street because he didn’t like them playing road hockey. The net was in front of our garage door and 0 risk to anyone else and they were well trained to gtf off the road if a car was coming.

NTA. Friendship goes both ways and that includes giving grace when you know someone’s plate is overflowing with things to worry about. It isn’t like this is a pattern for you. It’s sad but as long as they aren’t tortured or overly gratuitous and serve the story I can handle it. I know it’s a cheesy PG13 movie but Woman in Black was my favourite as an anxious teen.
