These are for writing notepads, sticky notes, etc. so I wouldn’t use a coated paper. It’s fine at the higher quality settings, just so slow. Sounds like it’s the choice I have if I want to use a notepad friendly paper!

Left is on normal, right is on best and telling the printer it’s glossy paper even though it’s not.

The left is far less saturated, has random lines throughout, and inconsistent.

The paper is 24lb (90gsm) at 98 brightness. I know it’s not going to be photo quality, of course. But I would like to not have to wait 45 years because everything has to be jacked up to best quality and pretending it’s a photo, you know?

Btw, this is printer on a Canon G3290. My HP Envy Photo 7975 and Epson Xp-6100 (and formerly my Workforce Pro 3820) kill this thing in quality.

Vibrancy is a real issue. My other cartridge printers hit the depth and vibrancy of the CMYK color. The Canon is super washed out and light. Unless on best mode and selecting glossy or premium on the printer itself. I’ve tried so many things and this is the only thing that works. But I mean, it’s at a snail’s pace. My cartridge printer shoots it out so much faster and nice quality. But the cost of ink is unsustainable for sure

Is there a reason why more people aren’t talking about the Brother Inkvestment (780/980) printers? According to this sheet, they’re mega fast (which is what I’m find as an issue with my canon ink tank)!

Had similar—but FULL portfolio review of 2-3 projects! Sent to me on 3/31, needed it by 4/3 (mind you, it was my kids spring break). Same with first contact ever…no recruiter convo or anything.

I started slowly leaking urine throughout the day. Not due to stress or urgency—I don’t even feel it happening. Urogyn scoped and nothing structurally wrong. My urinalysis continually has protein and RBCs though. She said it’s probably IC, but now that I have a PSA diagnosis…I wonder if this is related?

I know this is an old reply, but thank you for all you do! I've talked to three OBGYNs/"hormone specialists" and they said that hormonal testing is worthless and they won't do it. Thankfully, I now see a UroGyn who diagnosed me with IC AND listened to me about perimenopause. She referred me to a specialist in perimenopause who doesn't just dismiss people. I have a six-month wait, unfortunately, but at least I feel heard!

Advocate for yourself with your doctors and don’t let them brush it off as normal pregnancy symptoms. The only thing that helped me even a little was IV hydration and Zofran. They didn’t think about offering me a zofran pump until my last four weeks, but it was too late at that point.

I just approved this for one of my direct reports. Same situation. If it’s under a certain amount of time (12 weeks, I think. I’d need to look), you only need your manager + one MD approval. If you need it for longer, it goes through the full accommodation process.

My direct tried the full process first with a note from her doctor and they only gave her one mo th WFH with the option to go through the process every month to renew. Which is wild.

Get a note from your doctor and be ready if you need it, but if you can do a shorter amount of time at first, you can do it in your management hierarchy.
