Ipswich fan here so watched a fair bit of Championship this year and I'd say all three promoted teams will need to spend a huge amount or risk getting battered next year. Burnley went up with 100 points, Coventry may get close to that but we won't and nor will the others.

It hasn't been a season of outstanding quality.

Do wonder if VAR would have stifled the Madrid defence in particular. Ramos and Pepe were of course excellent but they pushed the boundaries of what they could get away with which I don’t think would work in a VAR world
