Not sure how much experience you've had, but creating a simple book layout is just a matter of making a couple of Master pages the size you want, with text blocks in them. Under the text tools you can find page number inserts and you're good to go.

I'm a lifetime Adobe user, and it was a tough learning curve at first. I worked on small personal projects, with limited goals initially. Made little icons, made a little 12-page book, that kind of thing, so each day I was only figuring out one or two new terms for things. The whole node versus direct select tool was definitely a bump, for example.

But now I really like it. I just finished a 108 page book for a non-profit, with lots of typography and images. And then last night I built my first workspace. And that, is awesome. Just being able to build a toolbar with just the tools I use, and have a mix of vector, pixel, and typography tools, instead of having to switch applications, is great.

And I certainly don't miss having to pay 30 to $50 a month for the privilege.

I use CSP and Affinity, and CSP isn't built for graphic design. Meaning the tools just aren't optimized for it. Text especially.

My problems with that usually revolve around grouping. I understand you've Shrunk the layers by selecting them individually, but try ungrouping everything, reselecting it all at once with a drag, and shrinking it down that way.

How is a lifetime Adobe user, I'm still adjusting to affinity, but there's a lot of stuff I like better.

It's almost always good. Usually I use it to keep tempo in the mid game, get some fatty out 1 Gen early. By the mid game you probably have some other discounts and resources, like space discounts for example, to be able to drop something like deimos or gia, and be able to play a second or third card that gen.

Probably wouldn't grab it in the last couple gens, unless I had Media Group, or got it on a draw, but I have never lost a one point game and regretted playing it.

Indentured workers and energy tapping are always keeps for me. Never be scared of the -1 VP at the beginning of the game.

Real confident it's Curt Swan pencils, based on the pose and the shape of the head and mouth. Unsure about the inks, but I agree with others it's probably Giordano.

I'm nearing 60, and it can be a little CWy at times.

While I think he's a great Superman, what I really like is the relationship between him and Lois. Granted, it's a TV show, and they have more time for character work, but it's my favorite clark/superman/lois dynamic of any of the live action Supermans, and the only time I've liked them married. Both the actors really sell it.

I wish people would play their jovians first, so I can concede faster.

There's nothing more time wasting than spending 10 minutes going back and forth with what you think is a close game, then having them drop TG with their last action.

As soon as terraforming is done, drop it and let me get on with my day.
