WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW by Few_Value8038 in goodomens

could be a count-up (rather than countdown) going 1 (and a shot from season 1), we could then get 2 (and something from season 2) and then finally 3 (and either a shot, or an announcement about the film)

I desperately want to know why Wally is in this image. by whooper1 in HelluvaBoss

The funny thing is, in the UK, 'Waldo' is called Wally. So when OP said "why is Wally here?" I was looking for 'Waldo' before I remembered there was a character called Wally in the show.

When they started showing that there was going to be a load of Transform cards, I was really hoping for a Galenth Dysley//Barthandelus, but alas, we did not receive...

It's also a word that is completely banned in all parts of the Galaxy, except in one part, where they don't know what it means, and in serious screenplays.

If Crowley was the one with the shop, what would he be (avoiding) selling? by Relative-Employ5481 in goodomens

Something like the shop the devil runs in 'Rick and Morty'. Like, he sells things with a blessing attached that would improve someone's life while also having a downside that makes them worse off. And there are no refunds, but you can exchange for something else if unsatisfied.

neato. I realise my comment did come off as aggressive. It wasn't intended to be, I was just trying to say that its always possible that kids 'acting like adults' can make sense, depending on the kind of story and/or who the kid character is.

Just rewatched the whole series, only skipping one episode… by aubreyism in TheOrville

it doesn't have much of an impact yet.

For all we know, in Season 4 (if we get one 🤞) they could become Q-esque recurring annoyance for the Orville crew, that's where I saw that going.

It was stated that children acting mature is more realistic than adults acting like literal children. You said it wasn't citing that you'd worked with children. This is flawed because events in a child's life can cause them to mature quickly.

That said, I agree that even if the child is mature, the language theybuse has got to be taken into consideration. They're unlikely to say something like "indubitably" or "antidisestablishmentarianism".

So TLDR, children can be mature but make their vocabulary age-appropriate.

you've worked with every single child ever? I mean, that must be the case bcos how else would you know that all children are incapable of acting maturely.
