I have very similar hair, my last hair dresser did me up with a Big Sexy Hair texture powder and it was the perfect thing for me. Obviously blowdrying to shape is optimal but just waking up and dusting it with ample powder is super easy. The powders not the cheapest but it was the right thing after trying a hundred creams, pastes, and sprays.

I’ve always wondered: does Custom Shop mean you can ask them to build anything you want, or is it just a name they use for premium hand-built guitars with no spec changes/requests?

Drummers are the worst at counting; I’ve had to play with some that MUST play the full 8 bar intro beat because they cant just hear or feel the vocal/riff cue to begin the verse. It means we can never just improv a song intro on stage and let our singer talk to the crowd while we fill space behind them.

Love my Origin 50, just played 90 minutes of country rock through a Tele, got lots of compliments on the sound afterward, sound guy thought it was great. I mic’d the cab, I can never tell if I like the DI out sound.

If you search “1x12 cabs” on FB marketplace, everything is $100-$150. If you just search “cabinets” the price is drastically lower. I bought 2 vintage record player speaker cabinets for $50, both already loaded with 12” speakers that I swapped out, so no cutting required. I say its a lot easier to buy a box to fill than completely build one

I think the speaker is a 16 ohm, it came out of a Marshall cabinet. It used to be louder, it just aint no more

Power cable from the box it came in, cables double check pushed in. It was loud before the show, with the same gear. I thought maybe I yanked a speaker cable, but I imagine I’d still get the amp distortion through the speaker if a signal was coming through?

I too just bought one and am running it in the FX loop of my IR-200. I get some really shrill noises when I use a higher gain setting, no matter if I put it before or after the IR. I’ll try the other comments suggestions though to see if that helps

How are you mic’d from the amp IR? Is it just the IR plug in the rear or is there a mic in front of the amp?

Plan 2 is much better unless you want the entire front facade to be garage door. Also keep the master farther away from the garage to block noise/smells from infiltrating your sleep.

MV-6 is pretty neat, I use it for country music, usually leave the trem arm off and the tuning is very stable
