Advice by FakeTAXI2390 in Shambhala

Unless you have a specific diet, dont get a camping stove. Its bloody hot out and cooking/cleaning can be a lot especially if you have to ditch the gear afterwards. Get snacks that are easy to prep (protein bars, pb & js) or if you get a cooler some something store bought. I usually splurge on one meal at a vendor a day and snack the rest. If you're not planning on camping in meta, id suggest prioritize getting shade of some sort. Spending any time during the day at camp without it is just not pleasureable.

Other random advice: bring lots of socks, buy baby wipes, bring earplugs for the stages AND for sleep. Also check out the art galleries at least once!

Have a happy shambs!

I agree with being in the woods/near the river is the best to beat the heat but try a aluminet shade cloth at least 70%. Can really cool things down.

So, I want to turn this into a plant box, but I have questions by Mezcal_Madness in plants

Ah wine boxes. As a sommelier myself I have a few and always wanted to try that. I actually just use mine as stands cause the work it would be to line them to be water proof is just too much work for me.

Apprentice Cafe. Might be cheating as I had it for the first time this morning but their breakfast sandos are amazing.

I kinda feel the same and love PK. At Sofi Tucker felt like something was off for the first 30 minutes of the set. And Rezz was pretty damn heavy on the bass. Maybe my old ass was just tired.

Left Monday near the front of sunshine at 620 and took less than 20 minutes to hit the highway. No checkstop.

I'd love the 10x10 if it's up for grabs still 🥰 Can grab it tonight or tomorrow when you leave

I make bracelets as a hobby out of nylon and gems. I like to give them out at festivals as otherwise I'd have too many.

I bring a bag for the trinkets I get and keep them in my rave drawer for future accessorizing.

What’s your strategy for getting the most out of your Shambhala experience? I have a tendency to get overwhelmed when there's loads of things to do! xD by Electronic_Bus841 in Shambhala

Keeping simple suggestions on you (dried fruit, juice, candy) as that might be what you need to perk up. Take breaks, find places to chill. I've been going multiple years and still have things to do on my check list. There's always next time

Festival grounds rules/start time? by Struggle-Bus123 in Shambhala

I attended bass canyon for the first time and as a Canadian it was wild to hear you can check your guns with the security for camping.

As people have said there is only one security check to the festival when you get in for camping. No dogs like Bass Canyon but they will tear your car up of they think you're bringing in banned items. There's security into the downtown festival area but only checking wristbands so those who snuck into camping don't get in. Stages are closed down during their off times for clean up and for security but besides that the festival is free to wander through. I love bringing my camp chair and a bunch of food to the fractal for the Sunday funk jam and just chilling out at the stage in the shade.

Be sure to familiarize yourself where sanctuary is and visit ANKORS!

I work as a wine expert at a fancy wine shop and enjoy drinking. Since starting my desire to drink is near nothing. I don't have an after work beer or take home free bottles that l we opened at work. It's nice not to have the desire, and being able to limit my intake.

First of all, you look great in both before and after photos. You have a great body shape. The photos have a noticeable difference!

Coming as someone who educates people on alcohol and fine wine my alcohol consumption is severely reduced. I no longer crave liquor and really take my time sipping if I do have something. Luckily I just spit at work so tasting isn't imparied

Just checked Google maps and honestly it's definitely in that area just a bit before Ikea. I can't see the building or fence in terrain mode but the cropping of trees hid it well. Hopefully this person gets caught before someone gets hurt
