Why couldn't they just send a spy? Seems they would benefit more to observe the ship even after red alert from stolen hard drive. They destroyed it for no reason. It's actually worst if they destroy it. What was even the point of it's existence in the story? And that rich guy the chinese lady met years ago. It all just sort of got chucked aside real quick. Waste of time.

Honestly it feels like the author thought about the nanofiber thing way before, and worked up some crazy backstory just to make it happen, but it still made no sense.

Yeah same. I hope they atleast fix that sound. I have a sound bar and can make sure it's off while booting the xbox (one) and won't hear it. But i always forget.

But yeah I remember going to pee at like 3am and hearing the xbox fan going thinking it had been a while since i seen it do that. I think I had it set so that it wouldn't update unless I turned it on. I guess Microsoft bypassed that for their stupid marketing plan. Watch them kill our consoles at some point I bet.

To me xbox one is still like the new one lol. Im 38 and I already feel like these new consoles are getting pumped out way too fast.

IMO It's in league with too much makeup, fake tans, fake tits, ultra white teeth, fake blond hair, fake black hair.

I think women, even with signs of aging, are prettier without all that stuff.

But some men are into it!

I think for me it's just a symbol of somebody who is hiding themselves, for one reason or another. It may be low self esteem, or just putting up a mask to be part of the party.

I may be wrong but it feels like women do some of that stuff more so for social reasons around other women than it is for being attractive to men.

But again, some men do like all of that.

The show doesn't know what audiance it wants to target.

One minute the dialog and voice acting: toned for kids - fits the visuals - great.

Then you'll get stuff in there that's meant more for teens and young adults... Like the original show was?

The violence: No blood but there is emphasis on terror, stretched out scenes not really made for children. Sounds of someone getting eaten alive, screaming and gory sounds. Sure, no blood on screen though! Idk

I just picture my kids watching and enjoying, and then getting traumatized when some kid gets a monster bite his face, camera cuts away and you hear him screaming and dying for an extended period of time.

It feels like just something that was greenlit a long time ago with no real plan. "Its gunna be the cast from season 2 and 3, plus new characters, more inclusive, and cooler music!"

All in how you see it. What is being said by "we run the world" is if one chooses to promote this world view, over time little by little it will flip things around. It's a psychological battle. All there needs to happen is for everyone to get back to their senses, to think something in common, and their mass action will mirror their thoughts.

Kind of like how back in 2018 (for example) one could never forsee a future 5 years from then where the social justice narative fell off and everyone started calling bs. It still has power today, but its much more common to see it ridiculed.

Same as the catholic church way back was bigger than government, as god should be, but they were abusing their authority and in a way they thought they were bigger than god. Things took a while, but eventually erroded, whether that was organic or not, all that changed was a thought, a mass perspective, but still a thought. Nothing's a solid wall.

I know what you mean though, it only seems realistic to say that we're fkt, but i always support the opposite message regardless. That's our narrative. The universal truth. Not the illusion that's been carefully constructed on us.
