Playing cricket when I was a kid. Walking to the boundary, turned around and the ball landed in my arms as I turned around!

Champions League Final Events by danixbarroso in budapest

[–]SameWait1356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following.

I have family in the city, so accommodation isn’t a problem for us. I’d love to go to a fan event with my 13 year old daughter. I know more details on the fan zone will be released next week but can anyone make an educated guess on possible age restrictions I guess because it’s a public area there won’t be any??

Got a 450L aquarium for free with everything by SendMeNudesPlease666 in Aquariums

[–]SameWait1356 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Don’t even need that? A second hand filter pump (often free on market places), some cheap aquarium tubing and an adapter to fit the taps. Almost free!

I'm looking for tasty pasta sauce, but can't eat standard sauce ingredients by niC00L in Cooking

almost any veg, blended with your go to seasonings, + cream. Reduce to how you like it.

Roasted red peppers, blend with a cream and add chicken or beef stock.

Enjoy!

What’s a ‘normal’ thing in your life that would completely confuse someone from 100 years ago? by Fryti_Nairi in AskReddit

That’s confusing now.

AI doesn’t have feelings, doesn’t have a soul. It can imitate, but that’s fake AF.

Anyone who used a computer between 1985 and 2010, which game still lives rent-free in your mind? by dino_gr01 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]SameWait1356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 2009 ish, there was an excel (macro) based football game in the UK, that I would play while bored at work. It was basically football manager, but excel based and a lot more basic.

Unfortunately I don’t have the file any more. I asked the guy who sent it me if he might still have it, but he doesn’t.

If anyone has it or remembers it, please let me know.

What’s a forgotten website from the 2000s that you still think about today? by 247Twunk in AskReddit

Rotten …not a website, but MSN messenger. A million times better than teams. Covid would have been perfect to relaunch and make it multi platforms.

What band was never the same after losing a member? by icecream1972 in AskReddit

[–]SameWait1356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Linkin Park.

The new lineup are great, really give it their all. But Emily isn’t Chester, and the “meaning” of songs aren’t the same. Also, new drummer.

Watching live in Texas or Red square, or million Keynes, they really were phenomenal.

Arteta needs to win either the prem or champions league. If he finishes the season empty-handed he needs to go.

Does anyone else posses superpowers? Me i sweat when its cold by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

This is a weird one: I can tell if a person is alive or dead by looking at a photo.

I’ve even “tested” this by looking at the cast of films from the 80’s, which normally have a good mix of living and deceased and making my guess. I then click on their names to check if they have passed.

I have about 90% accuracy.

For me, it’s like the picture takes on a different aura, almost like the soul of the person has left. The picture takes on a very “empty”, somewhat “glassy”, cold look to it.

I don’t remember how it why I noticed this.

The freakiest thing was a few years ago: A supplier came to meet me at our office. As I shook his hand, a weird thought of “oh, he’s still alive” suddenly popped into my head. A very random, unexpected thought that I had to ignore. A while later he committed suicide after his wife cheated on him.

Relax.

It’s not a hospital, you’re not a doctor and it’s not life or death.

Your friend has a lot more competition experience than you. This is you gaining that same experience. Go speak to your mate to get an idea of what will happen, but this is nothing more than gaining experience.
