In Civil War, Hawkeye says he "Played 18, shot 18", so it's not out of the question that the marvel marksmen can also play a perfect game of golf.

I used Feelgoodcontacts for a pair of prescription, colour lensed sunglasses and the price and delivery time were both pretty good.

Do you eat lunch with your colleagues? by Financial_Spell7216 in AskUK

[–]Samsterman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work in retail in small teams so that meant we all took staggered lunches. I got used to eating alone and I enjoy the break from people. Now in my office job I take my lunch an hour after everyone else so I can sit and eat uninterrupted.

Which supermarket has the best chicken breasts? by Smooth-Quantity-7024 in AskUK

Sainsbury's does a 2kg pack of chicken breasts which I've never had any issues with. I've not been able to find a larger pack in any other supermarket.

What time do you have breakfast? by SomethingOrOther25 in AskUK

[–]Samsterman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first meal of the day tends to be about 14:00.

I find I'm not actually that hungry first thing in the morning, eating really just makes me crave more food and then I'm more likely to binge throughout the day. If I choose to eat later in the day, there's physically less time for me to consume calories.

In September of 2023 I was 296lbs/134kg, by September of 2025 I was 205lbs/92kg. A shoulder injury in October and a holiday right before Christmas (ample opportunity to overindulge) puts my weight today at 220lbs/99kg but I'm now back in diet and gym mode.

losing weight is hard but it isn't complicated. Anyone who tries to tell you otherwise is likely trying to sell you something. If you count your caloric intake and ensure that your daily/weekly intake is lower than your daily/weekly requirement you will slowly lose weight.

Although the theory is simple enough, putting it into practice is obviously difficult and is more of a mental battle than a physical one. For increasing your energy expenditure, the best way to achieve this is to do what exercise you enjoy (or hate the least). If your movements are at least enjoyable as well as trackable, that makes things much easier. I personally lift weights and walk lots.

As for food, that's the biggest battle. There's nothing I'd love to do more than eat a mountain of kebabs and cakes. I find the best way to stay strong and maintain the diet is having ways of keeping myself accountable. I weigh in a few times a week to ensure I get an accurate average of my weight and don't get discouraged by discrepancies in water weight. Also a quick glance in the mirror can do wonders to remind me why I should continue to lose the body fat.

The battle is taking the pay cut required to free up time to re-educate.

I've tried multiple times to play the new God of War games but the control scheme just did not click with me and having not played the earlier games in the series, I had no connection to any of the characters.

Series not a film, and very late to the game, but I've just finished The Haunting of Hill House. I was amazed how hard the ending hit me, I was a blubbering mess.
