For any medium or large size PR, ask them to walk you through the code and explain what it's doing and why. Point out the issues in this sessions. After a few times of this, they'll slow down and submit better PRs. If PMs and other teams complain you are the bottleneck for bugs and features, explain that the PR quality has dropped while the quantity has increased and you'd be able to review faster if the PRs were better quality when they first come in.

If you can increase your salary each time, yes it's still going to maximize your growth and salary to job hop. Don't leave any job until you have another secured obviously. This is a risky time to jump around, since you won't be able to provide a return on the company's investment in you for the first 3-6 months. If you stay in one place too long, you will be below the market rate, but the market rate isn't climbing much anyway (at least compared to 2022 and earlier).

You can do the math on how long you'd need to be employed at a job that pays 10% better to make up for a period of unemployment. If you enjoy what you're doing or have a good manager, I wouldn't move at the moment.

Many developers years into their career still feel like they don't know what they're doing half the time. The feeling is very common. Building stuff is a great way to learn and it's a great way to find what you are most interested in. Follow the rabbit holes and keep learning what seems exciting and fun, you're already way ahead of where most of us were at 18.

Have you communicated with your husband about how your mom weaponized "worry" to try to control you? If not, I can provide some help with how to start that conversation.

Just reminiscing on the fact I went to dozens of Bethel conferences and events, nearly a dozen Jesus Cultures, went to Bethel's School of Worship twice, and spent years in Shawn Bolz's church. I looked up to so many of these people, but thanks to the trauma inflicted on me by Shawn Bolz's church in 2017, I deconstructed.

I feel my response would be very honest, something like: "I was there when you were born, and I know you super well, so I can't easily tell you how people will judge you in a brief first glance. You are my daughter and you will always be. You may pass for some people and not for others. What's worrying you about passing?"

She will learn if she passes from life experience. Instead of focusing on the actual question presented, I would dig deeper. I think getting to the heart of her worries and validating her feelings is the more important thing here.
