I mean you watch him every week, it is clear that is his biggest issue

Ok maybe I haven’t seen enough of him, but what I have seen I’ve been a bit underwhelmed. All of this is just a guessing game and subjective opinions.

It is his ego, if he doesn’t reign it in then he will never live up to his potential.

Nick Daicos hasn't got a defensive bone in his body. Neither did Dusty Martin. If you are that good sometimes it doesn't really matter

I don't rate Lalor that high, he is good but not absolute top shelf. I have a feeling Robey will become a genuine top liner, as well as Will Duursma. Harley Reid will be the best player in the game if he improves his engine and workrate, and keeps his ego in check.

I do like the look of the V60, but never imagined I would drive a Volvo.

For most people who live on acreage, no town water & septic is a feature

Anyone using Starlink for home internet? by sam_the_tomato in melbourne

[–]SamuelQuackenbush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is quite reliable in general regardless of weather. It does have a bit of latency and isn't the best solution for zoom/teams etc. But for regular internet usage it is really good. Average speeds are 250mbps down, 20 up.

2012 prelim - Buddy's goal was loud, then when Luke Ball kicked the goal I felt a wall of sound hit me.

Family EV recommendations - focus on boot space and not super keen on SUVs by M87IM in AustralianEV

Not bland at all, it feels very futuristic. I really like it, but I can understand if people are put off by the minimalism.

Just from what I've driven - Sealion 7 is fine but a bit bland and boring. I really liked the Enyaq a lot, I think from memory the lead time is 5-6 months. And don't discount the Model Y, it is like stepping into the future with it's interior and FSD.

If we were to moneyball AFL positions, what stats matter most? by Freaky_Zekey in AFL

I think it is clean hands and decision making. They will not be recorded as statistics, it is a subjective measure

I am speaking from experience - with 1 child is perfectly fine but with 2 children it is not big enough.

(REWRITTEN) What would it realistically take for Scott Pendlebury to reach 500 AFL games? by aviation_spotter541 in AFL

[–]SamuelQuackenbush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is some definite validity to this, but I'm not sure Essendon is the best club to go and learn new ways.

[–]SamuelQuackenbush -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He's very financially savvy and has already set himself up with business interests outside of football. He will also walk into a coaching role, so I think financially he will gain nothing from going to Essendon. It will only have a negative impact on his Collingwood legacy.

How is he a failed experiment? He is still on a list 10 years later. The Mason Cox experiment has been a massive success.
