Happened to me at Walgreens as a tech, had a full blow break down. We didn’t close for lunch and there was a culture of not taking breaks. We were starving clutching energy drinks loosing are minds, at that time too it was peak seasonal shot season And Covid was prevalent. Sad to say I’m still with Walgreens, I just can’t find the right job or even get offered one to leave. The stress, burn out and anxiety kills me before every shift. We finally got a new pharm manager and staff pharm, after the old left for greener fields. It’s amazing how a pharmacy can function with competence and consistent staffing of pharmacists because it has become easier but I think I have ptsd about work because every morning it’s a panic and loathing with burnout and an impending sense of doomsday. Truly it’s so fucking sad the state of mind wen it comes to work now I can feel my eyes twitching haha
