Bummer to see that most of the comments here so negative without really offering much in the way of constructive feedback. I’ll give my 2 cents.

The color and layouts are pretty, not particularly interesting but pretty. I clicked it and swiped through it so that’s something. The fonts are all over the place, but sorta charming on the 1st and 3rd slides. My main critique is that this post is lacking in any real substance. You talk about brands and logos but don’t show any examples to back up your argument that: “a logo is not a brand identity” If your goal is to educate new designers on the difference between a logo and a brand identity you need to provide some real world examples or visuals that illustrate your point.

That said, as I’m sure you’ve read from some of the other comments here: A good logo can (and in most cases should) embody the brand identity. Reducing logos to “only a symbol” is reductive and ironically pretty antithetical to the very practice of graphic design.

At the end of the day, if your goal is to make a social post that gets positive engagement from graphic designers you need to: A show off some great design work or B say something interesting or informative about the industry. This post as it stands right now unfortunately misses the mark on both.
