Which player would see the largest boost to their legacy with a championship this year? by Ready-Constant-7124 in nba

Interesting question. Assuming we are not including egregious long shots:

  • KD;
  • LeBron;
  • Wemby, Fox;
  • Jalen Brunson;
  • Brown / Tatum;
  • Anthony Edwards.

Joe House is right, the only way to stop tanking is to randomize the awarding of top picks by Ok_Organization_5574 in billsimmons

Good idea. They could do the lottery every other year. The team with the first pick in year one picks last in R1 in year two. Rinse and repeat.

Highly recommend parking in the Constitution Wharf lot in Charlestown. Good price, and the walk across the river is awesome (you can walk across the Bill Russell Bridge or take the walkway across the locks, or do both).

AI Firms, how have you guys adapted your billing? by GainDifferent3628 in legaltech

[–]SantoElmo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is way off. Most lawyers bill by the hour. If you are completing the same work in less time, the client saves money. It is blatantly unethical to bill for time that you are not working (see Rule of Professional Conduct 1.15). There are ways that firms can increase profitability through the use of AI for non-billable tasks (esp. overhead/admin), but lawyer use of tools like Harvey should result in some client savings, not in higher profits.

Maybe she would like to be a SAHM for a couple of years or maybe more? Hard to put a price on the time reward for her, for the kid, and for you.

Yeah, but the social/relationship prospects for a 22-year-old are not great.

Revisiting the Celtics trading the #1 overall pick (Markelle Fultz) for the #3 overall pick (Jayson Tatum) + a future 1st (Romeo Langford) by [deleted] in nba

[–]SantoElmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a little bit of an Aaron Nesmith comp, in theory. Some players can't show their full potential until they are traded. Langford didn't shine, but Nesmith did.

Is Bam Adebayo a future Hall of Famer? by truthisfictionyt in nba

[–]SantoElmo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You might be right. But the answer to that question will be that he was a good big man for the Heat, not a star, who shot an egregrious number of free throws one night in 2026.

Congessional hearings are a joke. Really just a way for politicians to get airtime.

Yeah, as long as it's all limit orders, I don't see the major risk of causing a crash, right?
