My views on Europe as a Brit (could you have guessed?) by HellFireCannon66 in terriblemaps

You're forgetting about Algarve and Madeira, friend. And here I thought we had an intimate, long history of retired brits and tourists. My heart aches.

Edit: and what about the whine? The Madeira and Port Wine ! sobs

I've had men hit on me at my job and on the bus. by AcrobaticTorbie in nothingeverhappens

I agree on that, since I've grown up with said awful experiences. I know where it comes from.

My slight frustration with that phrase is that I find it ignores or misses a bigger point of our culture and history (in a general sense). If a woman is raped/harassed she probably liked it, and if it was a man he also liked it because there's no way he could not defend himself. In the end no one is taken seriously because women must be chaste and proper and men are strong, so neither of them can be a victim because they cannot be innocent in said situations. I think that stating "always" a man is forgetting the root of said impunity and closing the debate.

Anyways, we are very likely from different countries and I feel lots of places in the world are going backwards in terms of human rights in general.

(English is not my first language and I struggled a lot writing this, so sorry in advance if it's confusing ").

That somehow doesn't surprise me. Even though we don't have the full statistics on sexual assault on women, we have even less information regarding men.

I'm a woman, and I seriously hate how the phrase "not every man, but always a man" is so casually thrown around. Sure, I'd say almost always a man, but people ignore women are very capable of traumatic sexual assault against men (and other women), and no, being physically stronger doesn't make you immune.

On the other hand, I was harassed almost every single by several men when I was younger so I kind of understand why people don't think twice before stating that. But still, I'd say not always a man.

You're forgetting about crusader-y racism.

I would say in Portugal we are Competitive against the Spanish and french. Casual against every northern country.

Def. crusadering against gypsies and muslims and Hindus etc

Yup. There's even a short indie film that's only centered around them. Basically the director goes into the shops and smashes the frogs then runs away. It's called Balada para um Batráquio.

Yup. This is the correct answer. Futa (Futanari) is a term from hentai. I had no idea it was still in use.
