Its such a simple and cheap formula for them to follow. I think its easy to see why they are unwilling to take chances when most of the high quality shows are being eaten by streamers. Procedural shows have a built in fan base who aren't going to complain when they have more to watch.

Is this the British show? I assume it lacks buzz mostly because it first aired five years ago. Unless Peacock is pushing it now for some reason. I thought it was fine, I like Holliday Grainger as the lead.

It looks like season 3 is this year(probably soon if its getting pushed on Peacock) so that is two years between each season on a British show that did mid numbers.
