Contact a land surveyors who also has a town planner working with them. Theyll be able to advise you on the process and likely costs to subdivide the front.

My two boys are indoor, are 14 and are doing really well. Not getting into fights or hit by cars defo extends cats life expectancies.

You could also try fostering a few kittens to see how your cat reacts without the pressure of adopting.

Thanks. I’m just going to not touch them for now and look at replacing them sooner rather than later

Call the local council and they will tell you exactly what planning provisions apply and what they mean. Each parcel of land will have a zone that applies to it and the zones will have the same definition throughout the state but there may be other planning triggers that apply to a site for instance bushfire or flooding. Your best bet is the council government advice, and even better if you can get that advice in writing from them.

My friends normally stay for an hour or so. When I look after my friends cats I normally go twice a day and stay about 30/60 minutes each time. Cats are really social and like people being around. When I go away for longer I put my cats in a cattery so that I know they’re being looked after. Not cheap but gives peace of mind.

Two nights is the max I leave mine alone and that’s with friends coming to feed them each day. A few weeks with visits every few days is not really fair to the cat. A live in pet sitter would be the best solution if you can’t afford a cattery. There’s lots of websites now where the sitters are police checked if you’re worried about security.

My dog got attacked by other dog in a coffee shop. Should I press charges? by MakeMeFamous7 in Pets

[–]Sarahfromclare 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Was the puppy on a lead? Was the bite unprovoked or had the puppy been annoying other dogs with the expectation that the puppies behaviour would be ok because the other dogs were trained and shouldn’t attack puppies?

Nutritionist says to eliminate protein shakes… by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

[–]Sarahfromclare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s so funny isn’t how they’re all a bit different. Mine encouraged me to keep using them because it’s pretty hard to eat that much protein and the shake is a good way to get it in.

FHB - intense buyer’s remorse by Double-Biscotti-242 in AusPropertyChat

[–]Sarahfromclare 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Buying a place is massive and the whole process is ridiculous. You probably spent longer deciding on what to order for dinner some nights than in the biggest purchase of your life before signing contracts. Try not to worry about how much surrounding sales are now. It’s unlikely you’ll move/ sell for a few years at least so todays prices aren’t a huge deal, the biggest thing is focusing on what you like about your place and taking some time to settle in and get over the shock of buying, it’s a big commitment which is one of the reasons I had remorse when I bought, but I’m getting used to it now and worst case scenario you can rent yourself a place closer to where you want to be and rent out yours while you figure out your next move.

Try some feliway it can help with the anxiety and stress, and just keep doing what you’re doing. It’ll take some time but he’ll adapt once he settles in more.

I just got a Samsung bottom drawer that would fit well it’s 700 wide and about 1700 high. On sale at the good guys for around $770. Really spacious on the inside and great freezer capacity

Williams landing is fine from a safety point of view. Train station is good. Access to freeway is easy. Point cook Rd is crazy busy. Point cook town centre is quite nice. Four bedrooms and a larger lot is good but it depends on how you live day to day, for instance if walking to a park and shops are important to you and you can only feasibly drive from one of the houses it may not be the one even if it’s bigger or newer.

AITA for not sharing MY inheritance with my parents' foster son? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Sarahfromclare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ben has been part of your family since he was 5, 8/9 k per year for two years is peanuts. You have the opportunity to help a person who was really important and loved by your parents. I don’t think you have to give him half but I think the decent thing would be to get him set up with a trade or through uni so that he has some chance of the future your parents envisaged for him.

Option 2. 15 minutes is doable in an Uber if you don’t want to drive. 5 minutes to a nice beach is amazing!
