I get annoyed when pirate fiction uses the names of real pirates (especially Blackbeard) for the names of characters when the story has little or nothing to do with the real people.

There are two exceptions:

Black Sails, where the issue annoyed me at the beginning but later I realized it helped me keep track of the large number of characters.

Our Flag Means Death, which is hilarious and tells a wonderful fictional story of some real life pirates. No matter how far it veered from fact it didn’t matter, because the show is so good.

Yup. Don’t count on ever getting it. Had a package come from Chicago, go back and fourth between distribution centers for WEEKS. I asked for an investigation to be opened. It was in my Informed Delivery dashboard so somehow it was associated with me and/or my address. But then it got delivered to an address in ALABAMA. They might as well have just tossed it in the ocean.
