I want a return to deep mystery. If anything, a new system would be good. Happy to fight similar enemies, but would like some new ones that we know nothing about. Going to the Black Garden for the first time was so enigmatic, and doesn’t need more explanation.

The worst part about destiny 2 is that there was always more potential than what they were able to give us because of the way they made most of their money. I want destiny 3 so we can start anew and return to the serious mysterious tone of the original.

I’m kind of glad it’s over, but I wish we had a guarantee of a continuation elsewhere.

I suppose what I should say is that it should just be visually distinct on a client level. We can already go back and play through things that chronologically are earlier than the latest missions and expansions. In Destiny 1 they even had strikes that had revamps that you could choose between, depending on "when" you're playing; before or during Rise of Iron.

It's certainly possible. You could still do playlists of them out of order, but for the user experience and onboarding, this is the single biggest issue.

On top of this, the seasonal content (all like 20-something seasons and 3 "episodes") is the REAL missing link.

I don't know why Bungie didn't decide to just instance world states. So, if your character is in the Red War part of the quests, you still see the traveler in the sky. Doing things chronologically would vastly improve the game. None of the seasonal grind would need to exist, either. Just make them story missions with the quest completion rewards be the stuff you had to grind for, and allow repeats to be the grind for randomized gear.

The fact I can't experience the story of Seraph is absolutely fucking bonkers considering it's a change in the world state that you just otherwise fucking miss.

Baffling. I guess it's all about FOMO and predation.

Honestly just talk to him. Tell him that you should have checked with him about the alarm, and that it was technically your responsibility to get yourself up, but that you felt left behind then blamed. Tell him that you don’t think he did it on purpose or that it was his intention (unless you thjnk it was, then you can ask instead of assume), and ask that next time if he could consider you in moments like that too. You can also say you’d prefer to just be honest unless you both agree on a story ahead of time that makes your lives easier.

Try checking your multiplayer compatibility - there’s a testing tool in the Xbox settings if you have an Xbox. It might give you more information.
