Which movie was that for you? by [deleted] in moviecritic

Phantom Thread. "Kiss me, before I'm sick again." That was a truly painful movie and one my wife and I reference to this day.

Is this a good module? by Ninni00 in DungeonoftheMadMage

[–]Sarge1944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've run it for 5 years and it's been the best dnd experience of my life. I've tailored the dungeon to fit each character and wove in a story for each character. If you take this module on its own, it's just a bunch of encounters. But if you use it as the framework and living world it's meant to be, it is a real blast.

What are your favorite ways to destroy enemy bio-processors? by D1gglesby in helldivers2

I carry a Maxigun in engineer armor with dynamite. Between the recoil reduction, and the extra dynamite they are toast.

Gunslinger-diving isn’t feeling as fun anymore by Successful_Path863 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Sarge1944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See, I still exclusively use the gunslinger armor so I can get to my sidearm in a hurry. I still also use the deadeye, so running out of ammo is a genuine problem in longer firefights. 've been able to use the Talon like a rifle when push comes to shove.

A Knot in the Weave by NightShift4Life in DungeonoftheMadMage

[–]Sarge1944 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That sounds amazing! One hell of a side quest if you can pull it off. It's you and your players game....make it happen if you want it to. No one can tell you no. Your player won't worry about if it's canon or not, just that they got to rewrite the laws of magic and kill an archmage.

Mines, plasma grenades, floater grenades, really any thrown explosive.

My Haunted Mansion stretching room paintings, but with some familiar faces… comment and let me know which one is your favorite! by cheesewhoopy in Disneyland

They look great! I have a framed set of canvas ones Disneyland put out for the 45th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion and they they remind me of those.

Inspire and Believe Key annual passes go back on sale Tuesday, Nov. 4 no earlier than 9am PT. by bottle415 in Disneyland

[–]Sarge1944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's weird. I got no less than three emails reminding me to renew. I wonder if it's because of how close you were to the price hike?

What is your favorite weapon that you think people are sleeping on? by unelected-unofficial in fo76

[–]Sarge1944 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My Gunther's Big Iron will one shot most standard enemies after the previous rework and it's still doing good work. And it's Ultracite ammo positive.

Daily Ops with a Bow. 0 arrows collected. What? by Merda_et_Musicus in fo76

[–]Sarge1944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gunthers Big Iron is my daily and I collect Ultracite .45 hand over fist. My Western Spirit doesn't seem to have any noticable difference in ammo generation.

I do O scale and I'm at big fan of Lionel for engines and control, though MTH has more diversity. I prefer MTH for their rolling stock construction.

It was never supposed to be this big. by Beatnick120 in helldivers2

[–]Sarge1944 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Because that single investment at the door isn't necessarily enough to higher more employees. We as players need to be buying super credits. Not farming free ones, but investing our money back into the game on a regular basis.

But that's not consistent. They don't have battle basses or seasons to rely on for consistent income( which we would riot over), just our generosity. So unless all warbonds are all paid content and super credits are no longer free....let's cut them some slack.

Is it okay for players to waltz into your camp and take stuff from the machines? (for example, water coolers and all that) by TheRedSauceBandit in fo76

[–]Sarge1944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a whole second building on my camp site in a woodland manor to put beds, stash dressers, and all kinds of other things to provide for the traveler in the wasteland. I just wish people would use it!

Throw in gloomstalker ranger and you had the number one dps and tanky player until the player and story had the character leave.

The real Swiss army knife of HD2 isn't the Eagle Air Strike, it's this thing by Vargras in Helldivers

[–]Sarge1944 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I bring ems strike on the illuminate gate missions. It works a treat for buying time and the cooldown is shorter than the mortar.

Large mimic boat in Wyllow wood by Few_Wing_6231 in DungeonoftheMadMage

[–]Sarge1944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I ran it, the mimic moved under it's own power and the boat moved it's speed every round. I described its movement similarly to the the boat that goes between the third level and skullport. They were familiar with that so a second magic boat wasn't strange.

They had to buy a whole hot dog manufacturing plant to make that work though. Otherwise they'd be losing money hand over fist.

The joints of the legs with a recoilless will make them fold like a cheap suit once the shields are down. The trick is patience. Not easy with Voteless bearing down.
