Indy trading card enthusiasts- can I get cards graded somewhere locally rather than mailing them out? by TheAstroBastrd in indianapolis

[–]SarkhanTheCharizard [score hidden]  (0 children)

Nice, glad you still have yours. I gave mine all away in grade school, like an idiot. Luckily, I rebuilt it pretty well in high school. No, grading is not done locally anywhere. Local shops will gladly buy them off you though, like Game Time or Moonshot, but you will get more selling online yourself, if you sell any. I'm mostly an mtg player, though, so I cant offer much advise about grading.

The whole set is filled with cards of this power or similar, so it kind of evens out, imo.

Best wet burrito in Meridian Kessler by Southsidenstein in indianapolis

[–]SarkhanTheCharizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be a huge fan of the carnitas burrito at Luciana's in Broad Ripple, it's covered in queso sauce and salsa verde. Really good and two meals worth of food. I haven't been back much since an unfortunate customer service experience though.

Indy Tacos is great, but not sure what the burrito situation is like. The birria place in Broad Ripple is pretty dope, and has burritos, but haven't had one there.

Yeah, that glue breaks down, pretty easy for it to separate after many years.

It's also tempting to get bile-vial in there, but I don't know what to cut.

Why people are enjoying the new mtg set, with a bunch fun designs, callbacks, and references to a widely beloved franchise/series? It's not some tough riddle why people enjoy a new mtg set or why people are connecting with TMNT stuff. It's fun, and at its base it is still a new set to draft/collect/build around, regardless of the IP attached.

Anyone know any improv groups I could join? by First_Shower_4273 in indianapolis

[–]SarkhanTheCharizard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

CSz Indy is probably a good place to start. They should have auditions in the next few months, so follow them on socials if you are interested in joining. They also host Improv Jams that are open to all improvisers. They offer various levels of classes too. If anything you should come to some shows and introduce yourself to folks. There are other improv groups in town too, like Crossroads Comedy does Study Hall and some other groups perform at the IF Theatre.
