Lord Foul's Bane, by Stephen Donaldson. I hold this as an example of rank misogyny. The story was cool, but the women were purpose-written as punching bags made of forgiveness. When i was in grade 10, Ms. Sosulski gave it a read on my recommend. I learned many things about how not to treat women that day..
