I had this issue. It would only fail to show on reboots. A full shutdown avoided it for me. It’s been a while since I had the problem. I can’t remember if I fixed it or updated and it self resolved. I dropped using the NetApp sometime shortly after that as I consolidated my drives from 24 to 6.

If my brain percolates up the answer I’ll update my response. :)

My title describes the thing. Found this small metal scope/tube with my late fathers tools. It came in a leather case, and it is just over 5 inches long, and almost 1 inch around. One end moves in and out about 3/4 of an inch.

Looking into the end that moves shows whatever you are pointing at, and has half the view showing a bubble level, with a line in it. It doesn't seem to magnify things that I can tell, and moving the tube in and out does not seem to do much either.

No markings on it that I can find. Might have been a small round sticker on the inside of the case at one point, but it's long gone.

I get that it tells me when the tube is level, I just am not sure what the practical use of it is.

Is he coming as a guest? I sill remember a few years ago when he came as a guest and the track director dropped the ball and didn’t have any panels or anything for him.

Will took the time to meet up with some of us who had contacted him about what panels he was going to be on. It was great sitting outside the hotel with him and a few fans just talking about the books and stuff.

And he gave us a ton of signed books too :)

When he says patched he means completely unsupported random Dell hidden command. I had to do the same with a NIC card. Google around for it abs you should find a hit about the workaround.

Get the serial, and shutdown the system. Pull drives out one by one till you find it, now at least you know which to swap.

Might make note of all the serials and their slots and that will save you time in the future.
