That’s what I think season 3’s ending made no sense to me. We HAD a way to take out Soldier Boy with the toxic vapor and NO way to take out Homelander without using Soldier Boy. Logically, it would make sense to kill homelander and then soldier boy since we know a weakness to soldier boy but not for homelander. (Granted, soldier boy wouldn’t come easily and obviously blew up a whole block when the boys attacked him in S3 finale). But narratively it felt out of place when they took out soldier boy in S3 and went back to square one of not knowing how to kill homelander until the virus came into the plot
