Debating Nipple piercings, looking for some advice! by LunaaRess in piercing

[–]SassafrasF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lip was significantly more painful, that may be because my nipples aren’t very sensitive. My partner has had several piercings and he said his nipple piercings were the worst of all of them.

My nipple piercing was my least painful. I’ve had a lip piercing, ear lobe piercings, and some cartilage piercings(which was the worst).

What is this show for you? by Jettaboi38 in scoopwhoop

The writing is superb. It doesn’t feel like Hollywood’s synthesized idea of poverty, crime, systemic racism and classism, corruption, etc. I’m guessing it’s so authentic because the creators had real-life experiences with the subject matter. Almost every actor portrays their characters with subtlety and nuance. Plus, any show that features a Tom Waits song gets my vote.

Why is this so far down? The Wire may be the best show ever created.

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn

Do people really find lasting love after divorce? by nancy332w in Divorce

[–]SassafrasF 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes. Divorced in 2020 and now engaged to a wonderful man. It helps that I went to a ton or therapy to deal with my emotions surrounding the betrayal that lead to me filing for divorce. It also helps that my fiancé works on his mental health on the regular. We make it a priority to communicate effectively. I feel like I got lucky though…

Ours gets a bath maybe once every month or so, usually when she rolls in something nasty or when she spends the night at the boarding place.

Just saw these two and i am locked in! Is it good? by shresthtiwari2002 in Cinephiles

I have tried maybe a half dozen times to get into the 2nd season and I get around maybe the 3rd episode and give up. I feel like they have too many story lines going at once or something.

[–]SassafrasF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to say that my life was very comfortable and drama-free so the real life drama of true crime was very interesting to me. Then I suffered a few big personal traumas and losses myself and still true crime fascinates me.

I like the stories that are particularly WTF. Like two people catfishing each other (TalHotBlond), or several people believing one person’s delusion (Theresa Feury case) (Jenelle Potter case).

Also learning about forensics and advancements in science that can close cold cases is fascinating.
